The Snow Walker (DVD, 2005)

An all around good family movie about the will to survive.

Would enjoy watching it multiple times so we bought it.

I saw the movie and enjoyed it so much that I had to have it.The story is a great one ,the actors are excellent and the scenery is unbelievable,really breathtaking.A must see and then a must own-I don't own many but I had to have this one,one to watch over and over.

A very captivating and emotionally haunting movie. Annabella Piugattuk's performance will steal your heart away. Keeping in mind that the 4'9" Piugattuk was actually discovered in the remote village of Igloolik, Nunavut, Canada, just 200 miles south of the north pole! This movie should have gotten more exposure. You will find yourself talking about this story long after you have viewed it. A must see, simply remarkable.

The Snow Walker stands as an exceptional movie for a number of reasons: stunning scenery, engaging story of survival, transformation & sacrifice, noteworthy acting in the characters played by Barry Pepper and Annabella Piugattuk (truly real/believable). And the special features background and interviews regarding the making of the film make it an even more interesting and appreciated work of art.

I decided to try Ebay on ordering this movie as I had only caught part of it on T.V. and wanted to see the rest of it. Was very satisfied with everything about this process of ordering.In fact I have been very satisfied with all the products I have ordered on Ebay. Is saves so much time for having to go out and try and find Items that are hard to find. There has not been any instances where I have not been satisfied with any product I have ordered through Ebay.

The story line is great, the senery is fabulous. Tells a truthful and heart warming story of bigotry and misunderstanding that the Whites have about the Natives of the Artic, and shows what a big heart the Natives have and how they have always been willing to help others, even when they eventualy lose.

UGLY ACTORS IN A MISGUIDED PLOT AMBLE THEIR WAY TO AN INTERESTING MOVIE OF SURVIVAL IN THE WILDERNESS. VERY REALISTIC, QUITE ENJOYABLE, FUN & INTERESTING, NO SPECIAL EFFECTS.

I saw the tail end of this movie on TV so went directly to eBay and bought it so I could watch the entire movie. Haven't had time yet to watch it but I know it will be good. The DVD came in great shape and fast shipping and I always check eBay when I want to buy something before I go anywhere else.

Wonderful, simple story with outstanding cinematography. Love story without the usual ending. Just a man and a woman against the elements after a plane crash in the vast trundra.

A SLEEPER!!! VERY GOOD MOVIE!!! TOUCHING!!! EXCITING!!! BEAUTIFULLY PORTRAYED. I NEVER EXPECTED A FILM SO WELL DONE AND SO TOUCHING. A TEAR JERKER TO MANY BUT WORTH THE VIEWING! :-)

This is a story of the educational experience of the lead character, a pilot who learns the falseness of prejudice. Although I would have omitted a couple of scenes and inserted a couple of more, this film turned out rewarding. I will watch it again--which is one way I judge movies. While I wish the final scene had been extended, the viewer is left to consider the snow walker's new perspective on life, and how he will now interact with the world.

I LOVED THE SENERY AND THE VALUABLE THINGS IT TOUGHT ABOUT SURVING IN THE WILDERNESS THE REASON I BOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE MY SISTER LIVES IN ALASKA AND THE MOVIE SHOWES THE WONDERFUL LANDSCAPE IN ALASKA

Well I rented this movie from my town library, And our babysitter borrowed it from me as well, and lost the movie. She just didnt seem to care about replacing it. I wanted to stay in good standings with the library. But I didnt want to pay the price of a new DVD. So I turned to ebay to get it for a cheaper price. But I didnt really think the movie was so great, It was okay.

I so enjoyed this film, even though I had never heard about it. The title intrigued me -- I know would never had found it. I do not go into DVD stores, I limit myself to Ebay. Nice family movie, good story, scenery beautiful, and the behind the scenes of the making of the movie was soooooooooo interesting. I recommend it highly!

Really enjoyed the movies. Was happy to find it on ebay... first place I tend to look for what I want. Price is usually fair so is shipping..

Tne Snow Walker has special story and Pepper's performance is so successful.i heard the movie from a newspaper and get started to wonder about the story. i'm glad to watched it.
