J.Evanovich, always makes me laugh...her characters, are so real, like some long lost friend or someone yu forgot you knew. This book, is differentr from other of hers I've read or listened to, a light love story. When I'm driving in th car, I catch myself laughing out loud, because I relate to her story lines and predicaments, her characters end up in, I have to check and make sure people aren't watching the crazy lady in the car next to them.

A big disappointment; Not even close to Plum caliberReview created: 05/30/08

I have listened to all of the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich and absolutely loved them! Lorelei King is an awesome reader and great at the character voices. Smitten falls far below par. There is no plot; the story line is weak; the characters are nondescript. The voice of CJ Critt grates on one's nerves. I kept listening with the hope that it had to get better, but it never did. Overall it was a big disappointment and I was glad that it actually came to an end--uneventful as it was.
