Smallville - The Complete Seventh Season (DVD, 2008)

I grew up with Superboy, Superman, the Justice League so it's nice to relive the past without watching cartoons.
Worst thing that DC did was to rewrite the comic myth. Superboy used his powers and had adventures and then became Superman.
Again it's how I grew up reading the comics of the 60's.
Everything is simpler now. We actually read the comics rather then collect them as a investment.
The pains of being a child of the 60's and getting older.

more characters, better writing, less hocus pocus. i enjoyed this more then the last season. i would recommend it.

i assume the actual season was good, however the seller is poor. I never received my purchase. I contacted the seller and they were not worried or cared. I did not receive a refund or any other correspondence. It has been a month and i have not received my purchase or a refund. I did not think this was the proper way to do business.
I am very disappointed. This has been the only bad transaction i have been a part of since i started using half.com. i will not use that seller ever again.

I was looking for the 7th season of smallville at a reasonable price and I found it. Shipping was ultra fast and the product was just as described! Great Seller!

I'm really satisfied with this product because not only did it come in quickly, it was still factory sealed and it was alot cheaper than going to the local wal-mart to purchase the same item.

I had never heard of Smallville until last year! I'm hooked and will be very disappointed when the series ends:( IN the course of one week I was up to speed and enjoying just as if I had never missed an episode. One episode and I'm sure you will be hooked just the same

Movie description
The town of Smallville is mostly inhabited by ordinary folk looking to live a peaceful life. But among their number is Clark Kent (Tom Welling), the future Superman who faces a daily struggle to control his special powers and keep his true identity a secret. This seventh season of SMALLVILLE offers plenty of surprises for the young Man of Steel, plumbing the vast store of Superman mythology to introduce two characters from the comic books: Clack's cousin Kara (Laura Vandervoort), also known as Supergirl; and Bizarro, an evil Clark Kent look-alike. Meanwhile, as Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) becomes infatuated with Kara, Clark comes ever closer to the truth about his parents and his home planet Krypton. Included here are all 22 episodes of the seventh season, including a guest appearance by Dean Cain.

This is a brand new season with all the changes and theatrical drama of a teenage TV show. Very good quality an excellent show for a great evening of drama. I decided to buy this season because I'm anxious to see the last released season because I've seen the previous 6 seasons 3 times. A great series overall.

This season is intense. The show is getting better each season. Can't wait for the next one the 8th season!!!!!

The Justice League unfolds mor untold mysterys than I can fathom...I'm at the edge waitin as the Saga unfolds. While the plot thickens there are twists to keep you at bay...

Now, a staple of the superhero mythology is: there's the superhero and there's the alter ego. Batman is actually Bruce Wayne, Spider-Man is actually Peter Parker. When that character wakes up in the morning, he's Peter Parker. He has to put on a costume to become Spider-Man. And it is in that characteristic Superman stands alone. Superman didn't become Superman. Superman was born Superman. When Superman wakes up in the morning, he's Superman. His alter ego is Clark Kent. His outfit with the big red "S", that's the blanket he was wrapped in as a baby when the Kents found him. Those are his clothes. What Kent wears - the glasses, the business suit - that's the costume. That's the costume Superman wears to blend in with us. Clark Kent is how Superman views us. And what are the characteristics of Clark Kent. He's weak... he's unsure of himself... he's a coward. Clark Kent is Superman's critique on the whole human race.

That's why Smallville is the best show...it's about the best Superhero!

i've always been a superman fan since i was a kid and i still am.and i think that smallville is the best superman adventures i've ever seen on t.v. to add to my collection.i have all 7 seasons

Smallville is the best show ever and season seven was no different. I would love this show to go on and become just as great as superman himself. LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLooooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeee it.

it was great may you wish the 8th season was out, i watch it weekly and i can wait until the 8th season's dvid is out.

i brought season seven of smallville 2008. The DVDs were new and in original packaging as the seller described. I am very happy with the DVDs

Tell me, What is there not to like about Smallville?
What amazes me the most is how creative the producers and writers are at keeping each show extremely entertaining and suspenseful. I saw the very first episode with Flash, maybe season 2 or 3--I don't really remember but I didn't seem to watch it after that until my friend made me sit and watch 2 episodes that he taped. The next day, I came to e-bay and purchased every season and watched them straight for 18 hours. I have been hooked ever since.
What concerns me is how, when Smallville ends, will they end the show. Maybe it will be him taking his first "real flight with his cape" instead of those powerful jumps. Or maybe the introduction of ISIS (we know who that is) and perhaps a spin-off with Lana. Hey, who knows? I am hoping for the prior with a continuation being a full length feature movie at the theaters. I think Welling plays a superb Clark Kent that will develope into the hero that he is destined to be. My favorite character is Chloe. She is by far his "rock". I am glad they are not romantic. They are like brother and sister and will do anything for each-other. After seeing the now season 9...I can't wait for season 10 and wish it was on prime time rather than CW. But am happy it is still on the air. I miss Lex but think I want to see the Justice League and "Anti-Justice League" form too before he comes back for some more adventurous episodes. GREAT JOB TO THE ENITIRE CAST AND CREW FOR MAKING ONE OF THE MOST WELL-WRITTEN SERIES THAT I AND MANY OF MY FRIENDS HAVE EVER SEEN. HERE'S TO ANOTHER 10 YEARS SMALLVILLE.
