Season 5 adds a new twist into the world of smallville so many things happen that are unexpected. I do not want to ruin the surprise for those who haven't seen it yet. Season 5 continues with the growth of Clark Kent as he enters college it also dwells deeper into his relationship with Lana and Lex. This season is full of surprises all of which will test Clark Kent especially emotionally. If I must say this season focuses a lot more on emotions than previous seasons.
