Not bad ,,, , book is better!!~

I wanted to see this movie because i've read the book 2 times now. The movie is really good, due in part to Farrah Fawcett's flawless acting. She really is remarkable. They changed the names of most of the key characters. Timeline-wise, the movie varied from the book some. In the movie they do not show the defense attorney cross examining "karen" (her real name is christy). In the book, the part where dianes attorney cross examines her is quite dramatic and i couldnt put the book down!! in the movie, the wrong arm is paralyzed. Also, in the book christies injuries left her face partially paralyzed and they did nothing in the movie to accomodate her actual injuries. The big kicker though is that in real life, Boyd Paul (his real name is Steve) who is the children's father, planned to let diane see the kids ahead of time. The agreed to meet at the mall or the park, and he planned it out with her. In the movie, they play it like he was shocked to see her in the park. I could go on all day about how the books written about true stories are always better than the movies, but i dont have that much time.... This movie was actually quite good... but they could have gone into much more detail. too bad movies are only a couple hours long. May Cheryl Ann rest in peace, and peace to Christie and Danny.
