Sliders - The Third Season (DVD, 2005)

If you enjoyed Seasons 1 and 2 than you will most likely enjoy the continuation of Quinn & Co's journey. Also, if you enjoy Sliders, I recommend Dr. Who, Quantum Leap, Battlestar Galactic, and Firefly.... all of which are excellent Sci-Fi series.

Seasons 1 & 2 were without a doubt the best. Season 3 ended up being pretty good; until John Rhys-Davies 'left' the series. After that, it got worse and worse with each episode. Season 3 can be considered the last good season of Sliders. Seasons 4 & 5 were a disgrace, as is evidenced that the distributer is too embarrassed to release them onto DVD.

If the Sliders wasn't entertaining enough for you, in the Third Season they added the very sexy Kari Salin Wurher to the "lost mix". This complete series is a great tv show my 10 yr old daughter loves it too. Anywhere from a alternate universe with a flooded San Fransico to running from Dinosaurs and escaping from aliens. This show is an awesome addition to my collection, along with Dr.Who, Stargate SG1, Battlestar Galactica, Futurama, Smallville, Automan, Viper, Back to the Future, Star Trek Enterprise,etc.

After years of waiting, the 3rd Season of Sliders is finally available on DVD. Although the set is lacking in extras and special features, the overall quality of it is excellent, with all 25 episodes in sharp DVD quality. Anyone who is a fan of this great science fiction series will not be disapointed with this set.

The writing is clearly not as "crisp" in Sliders Season 3, as before, but it is adequate, not horrible as some suggest. The prof Arturo character was killed off apparently because John Rhys-Davies apparently embarrased either the producer or the producer's wife at a Hollywood party due to the dismal script writing, depending on where you read it. Kari Wurher fills in and by the end of the season, fits in with the crew.

Sliders is one of those TV series that did not live up to the HUGE potential it had. It could have been a centerpiece type of show, and they could have EASILY written Arturo back in a myriad of ways, as well as branch out into different directions all at once, like the X-files and run just as long. They could have run for 9-10 seasons, 25-30 shows per season, had all kinds of interesting story lines, and mixed and matched a group of regulars that could have alternated in and out.

Sliders is well worth watching because of the variety of situations and comraderie of the main character group. Season 3 has Prof Arturo most of the way, so enjoy.

Was a little disapointed that it was not in the original box.Bit it was in plastic cd cases. So I wrote on the outside of the cases what disk it was. So it all worked out .CD's worked great.

SLIDERS IS A GREAT SHOW ABOUT YOUNG GUY WHO MAKES A DEVICE THAT OPENS "WORMHOLES" TO ALTERNATE EARTHS WHERE THE DIFFERANCES COULD BE AS SUBTLE AS STOPING AT GREEN LIGHTS OR A OBVIOUS AS RUSSIANS IN CONTROL OF THE USA.
THE ACTING IS PRETTY GOOD FOR A 90'S TV SERIES THE STORY IS PRETTY SOLID.DEFINETLY WORTH WATCHING.

I think this is one of the best SciFi series ever written. It has adventure, drama, love and parallel universe experiences. This is a must for the SciFi fan. It is a favorite of mine and the season three purchase was to help complete my Sliders collection.

fun and exciting, a great scifi adventure for everyone to enjoy. action adventure full of exciting new worlds, every episode a new journey, every episode a new world of exploring. sliders was one of my favorite shows. i am glad to have found it on dvd.

It was good until they fired/killed off John Ryes Davies aka Professor Auturo. This was as stupid as NBC canceling Knight Rider back in 1986. When fox took over the show they destroyed it. Like Knight Rider 2000 such a disgrace

I love the Sliders series. I love science fiction and anything to do with quantum mechanics. I think all aspiring science students would love this series.

There is not one thing that I dislike about the 3rd season of sliders. I never got to watch it on television so all the episodes are new to me. I originally bought seasons 1 and 2 for my boyfriend for christmas. We loved them so much that I had to get the 3rd season. We still have 2 more discs to watch on the 3rd season and I can't wait to find out what happens in the end. For the people who like science fiction, this is a great show for you to watch. I am not huge on the science part but I love the way each new slide creates an adventure for the sliders and how creative the writers were in making each dimension so much different than what we consider as normal. It makes our world seem so much better!

I bought Sliders Season Three a few weeks ago and have already finished it, a friend and I dicovered we both liked Sliders as kids so we decided to go through all of the seasons together. We already finished and enjoyed seasons one and two which my friend bought. So this it was my turn to buy Season Three and we're loving it just as much. Personally I do think that some of the plot points in Season three weren't as good One and two, but they are all very entertaining. **SPOILER ALERT DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENS** But the worst part about season three is when they kill off professor, who is one of the best characters in the whole series. But this is a good buy for any sliders fan, and you should definitely check out all the seasons.

I find this show to be both entertaining and creative. This season takes us on yet another journey with the characters and their adventures in time travel. The plots become more extreme and there are many close calls when it comes to "sliding". Overall, I think this is a product that many viewers would enjoy.

enjoyed the season to bad it was the last one. they make many si-fi series that are entertaining. the eureka series is also enjoyable. this one is current. i buy the series' because i hate the commericals on tv. i will wait until the series is over and comes out as a disk set and buy it just so i don't have to sit through 4 minunite slot commericials. the future of tv is a waste of time with the abuse of commericals' being forced on us. there are other forms of entertainment to experince. they are doing it to themselves. the acting out of entertainment is ok but its not the only game in town.

I like the movie, and when i looking for this title on eBay, i found the lowest price form this seller above the other seller. So, i decide to bought it. It arrive on scheadule and in good conditiion. A little broken on the case, but it doesnt matter for me.

I enjoy this anime very much and that's why i bought it and would suggest anyone to buy it. I feel that ebay brings alot of great products from world wide to people that collect items and movies or just whatever they look for and at a reasonable price so i do hope that you find this product i chose as enjoyable to you as i do.

i liked the third season and all the dvd's played great. the only problem i had at all was that the box set was made poorly and the glue came undone on a couple of the dvd pages of the plastic box set. it was only a problem with the manufacturer's end though.
