Absolutely beautiful lyrics to calming music. I played this constantly when pregnant with my now well grown up children. Now my eldest daughter is expecting a little one, so I bought it for her. She cried when she heard it, it so moved her so much, and that wasn't even track 12! I have since bought it for a friend i work who is also expecting....she cried too! I play it every sleep time for my little grandson, he lies quietly listening before falling peacefykkt asleep to the beautiful melodies. Secure in the fact that our Father's Angels watch over his bed. God bless all who buy this CD. PS I really recommend Michael Card's other CD's, start with 'Immanuel' WOW!!! I've heard him in person, a more humble servant would be hard to find. x

LOVE IT!! I buy it for all of my friends who have babies. The lullabies are beautiful Christian songs that any child or adult would love to be lulled by. My children listen to it nearly every night. The lyrics are truly Christ-centered and peaceful...so many thoughts that any parent would have. Michael Card loves the Lord and clearly wants to share that with his children. I am grateful he has chosen to share it with us too!

Well, my wife bought a copy of this Cd in the form of a cassette when our now 21 & 19 years old were babies. She played it for them at bedtime. It calmed them and coaxed them to sleep.
She got the idea to give a copy in CD form now :) to a couple expecting a baby along with a shower gift. So, where else to find if it still is available but Ebay. Sure enough it was here.

I love this CD. It is so peaceful. I have two children and they ask to listen to this CD when they go to bed. I would highly recommend this CD to anyone who wants to lull their children to sleep. Wonderful. Wonderful. Wonderful

These are the sweetest and most memorable lullabies. Since my first child in 1989 to my fourth child who is now 3, these songs bring the warmest feelings and memories. Michael Card's voice lingers long after the song ends. You wont regret buying this or the Come to the cradle Cd.

When Sleep Sound in Jesus by Michael Card was first released on cassette in 1989, our second child was only just a baby, and it was a favorite of mine to play at bedtime for her and her 1-1/2yr old sister. The words to the songs touched me deeply, and at some point years later, the tape broke and it was immediately replaced with a new CD.

When our son was born in 1993, we also became 'Born-Again Christians' and had to include a quote from one of the songs on his birth announcement because it meant so much to us. The CD has been on camping trips and hotel stays to help the kids, and us fall asleep in unfamiliar places.

Now at ages 19, 18, and 13, I occasionally hear it coming from one of their rooms late at night. Knowing that they find peace in these Christian songs and their meanings, really blesses me as a mom.

I always give this CD as a shower or new-baby gift on a regular basis.

I received this when my son was born almost 20 years ago. It was the most useful baby gift I received! Michael Card's sweet music has lulled us (Mom and Dad included) into sweet sleep many times. It is still a family favorite to listen to. I always give a copy of this to all new parents I know!
