Skippyjon Jones by Judith Byron Schachner (2005, Paperback, Reprint)

Great books--puns in english and Spanish, delightful illustrations. I got these for the grandchildren, but kept the books myself.

I bought this after hearing a young friend of mine read it for a performance at her school. My students love it as well. I have to KEEP buying it because they all want to take it home. It's a delightful book, one that makes them laugh no matter how often I read it to them.

The funniest little story, wonderfully illustrated, about a siamese cat that thinks he is a Mexican Chihuahua Superhero. Had to have it for our library of must-have books to read to the grandchildren. Everyone will laugh and laugh at all the funny rhyming words and antics of this adorable character. I recommend using your best spanish accent when you read it, for extra punch!

My daughter had this book at her preschool. When she saw it on half.com, she begged me to buy it for her. She loves it!

I bought this for my nephew for his birthday because I had read it to a couple of 3-1/2-year-olds at a party and couldn't get them to stop giggling. From start to finish (and then start to finish again!), they giggled and giggled and giggled. They repeated all the funny words and pointed out all their favorite crazily drawn dogs and cats.

Kids love this book and it is a joy for adults -- if we're going to have to read books a thousand times, it's great to find one that is this much fun.

This is a really cute story about using your imagination. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed it. A great story for parent and child to read together.

Great book, love this character! This is one of the funniest "read-aloud" books I have read lately. As a retired first grade teacher, I would recommend this book to any current teachers to read in their classrooms.

I found this book at the local Goodwill store and picked it up for $0.35. I had never heard of Skippyjon Jones, but the illustration on the front looked cute so I thought what the heck. I have never laughed so hard while reading a book to my children before. Not only did I love the story, but my 7 and 2 year old daughters did as well. It is now a regular on the bedtime story list!
