My son and I love to read books that follow the melody line of well-known songs. This book follows the melody line of "Skip To My Lou" very well with a hilarious story, too. The pictures are very silly and will make any child giggle. We love the chaos that happens when the boy in the story is left home (on the farm) alone by his folks when they go to the store. Even though things get pretty silly and messy. Everything works out well in the end.
I highly recommend this book to any family with young children....especially if they like to sing.
