Sketches of Spain--this is how they do it

I would like to tell you how much I enjoyed Sketches of Spain, and the other Miles Davis CD, Birth of the Cool, both of which I purchased from Stairwayjango. I would, but I can't, because Stairwayjango never sent me these items. I hit the same problem with Bigfiveidea, a seller now suspended from eBay. In each case, the seller had perfect or nearly positive feedback at the time they started a big, massive auction. Each seller had a fairly high (but still not unreasonable) shipping charge of about $4.40, with a $1.00 discount on the next purchase, to seduce you into multiple buys. After the auctions all closed, and the sellers pocketed everyone's payments, the negative feedbacks started to accumulate. In the case of Stairwayjango, they have 24 negatives in the past month, reducing the pre-auction, 100% perfect f/b to about 84%. In each case, moreover, the seller had built up some really good, positive feedback (i.e., they don't start the auction with no feedback at all), just to further the ruse--I checked the feedback, and it sure looked good to me. Also, these folks are all recent eBay members--both stairwayjango and bigfiveidea joined eBay in April, 2008.
I have to conclude that there is some scam out there, some course in how to fleece people on eBay. There are too many similarities. And it looks like eBay carefully puts itself above the fray--it takes an ostrich approach, that whatever happens down here on earth is nothing to do with eBay, it is just a venue, so it is our fault if eBay profits from these sellers.
So, that's my review. What is Sketches of Spain like? Your guess is as good as mine--unless, of course, you actually own the CD.
