Sixteen Stone by Bush (Rock) (CD, Dec-1994, Trauma)

This is a good CD, definitely old school grunge which I like. Most all the songs are good, and it has a lot of their hits on it.

I think it is the best Bush CD. I love 90's alternative/rock, and Gavin's voice is strong. If you like any Bush songs, you'll love this CD.

The album was a great price. It was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. The seller kept me informed. A very positive experience.

"MachineHead" is an awesome song is heard all over at football games all across the the country! If you like Bush, you will like this cd!!!

Bush may not do the whole grunge thing as well as Nirvana, but they have still managed to distinguish themselves enough and write some good enough songs to make a pretty solid album. Gavin's voice has a powerful quality to it and the use of slide guitar is a nice, unique touch.

I used to own this CD when it first came out and Loved it. Now 12 years later I bought it and found that its still a great cd. The songs are still favorites and are played on the radio yet today. A lot of the tracks are on movies and its gavins voice is awesome.

I have to admit, in the 1990s I was one of those musical snobs who hated that Bush had taken the masterpiece of Nirvana and distorted it into commercialized pop, but since then, I've mellowed, and recently gave Sixteen Stone another listen. I'll have to admit--I like it.
To me, Bush is the musical equivalent of Cosmopolitan magazine. Shakespeare it's not, but I pop the CD in, listen to it, love it and don't really have to think about it. It's not deep or meaningful, but it's good to listen to. There are plenty of hits here from Everything Zen, to Gylcerine to my fave Come Down. It's still good enough, though, to put in as back ground music and play all the way through.
Bush didn't change the world. The band was known as much for Gavin Rossdale's good looks as their music, but their contribution is that they became a part of the soundtrack to a decade of very interesting rock music. They are a guilty pleasure that are worth taking a listen to.

I bought because it was the cheapest. There was no scratches on the cd and nothing was wrong with it. You also had good feedback.

Great cd! It is his best cd. lots of fantastic songs. I bought it to down load to my mp3 player to lisson to in the gym.
