Decided to purchase text prior to enrolling to take an online course in Six Sigma. The book presents information similar to all the "Dummies" books. It provides the reader with a great overview of what is involved in Six Sigma and what it provides a company. While the information would not be enought for one to read and pass the exam, it's a great starter for someone considering getting involved in Six Sigma even if it is only to use some of the information in one's own company without using the full deal.

Six SigmaDummies books are always very good books. This is a good "intermediate" level book. To get a foundation prior to this book I suggest reading one of the Deming methods books prior to reading 6 Sigma. If your an engineer than you already know about Deming, the "X" factor and the 14 rules, etc. Good book after you read up on Deming though.
