Sitting Ducks: Season 1 Quack Pack (DVD, 2004)

This collection features the lovable computer animated character Bill the Duck, along with his friend Aldo the Alligator and numerous other animal friends. Follow along as the Duck Town residents have lots of fun and get into lots of mischief!

The daily cartoon series Sitting Ducks was based on the famously whimsical paintings of Martin Bedard, who in the 1980s issued several portraits of funny ducks in various black-comedy situations (for example, commenting upon a sudden rash of bullet holes). The feathered hero, Bill, was a misunderstood resident of Ducktown. Ever the nonconformist, Bill befriended another misfit eccentric, Aldo the Alligator from Swampwood. The message was that it's okay to be different, even when it means ignoring the rules of nature and cavorting with friends who might otherwise have you for lunch. Produced in 2001 and animated in the 3-D CGI process, the 26 11-minute episodes of Sitting Ducks began their American run over the Cartoon Network on May 6, 2003. ~ Hal Erickson

We found this series several years ago. It went off the air shortly after we started watching it. We've been wanting to know if the series came out on dvd and we finally found it. It's great - we love it! Just wish the whole series was on dvd!

Though it is probably strange for someone my age (FIFTYISH) to be wanting to review a CARTOON, I imagine if thinking as I do, that is there is a kid in all of us that loves this kind of thing, it really isn't that strange at all !!!!

I discovered 'SITTING DUCKS' on QUBO, and once againg found a DVD collection on eBay at a bargain price.

The nice lady that sold me the disc hopes as I do that there is a SEASON 2 available.

A delightful series based on a original idea, that is warmly entertaining, as well as genuinely funny.

Sitting Ducks came on when I was a kid so I jumped at the chance to buy it at such a great price. The shipping was fast, the item is as described and I can definitely see myself purchasing from this great seller again!

I think that this is a excellent series for children. I teach first graders and my students would love this.

I love with this DVD once I got it in my hands. I watch this DVD went im blue or had a bad day because this show really cheers me up. The french dub of Bill and Ferd voices is so funny, and so are the eps. Too bad that the DVD didn't have all the eps, but you can watch the rest of the eps online. If you looking for a 3D cartoon that can put a smile on your face than this is it.

my granddaughter loves it and I liked it because it had short stories instead of one long one.. the front cover of it.

This dvd has 4 hours worth of entertainment for my children. My son loves "Quack-Quacks" and this keeps his attention for a while. A++++
