Sirius Sportster 4 SP4-TK1 Satellite Radio Receiver with Car Kit

I love sirius radio, I owned one for years and it broke so I bought another one, can't live without it.

The sirius sportster worked great for about a month. Then I wasn't getting a signal. I called customer support and they did a wonderful job in replacing the antenna. About a week later it went out again and half the numbers and words could not be seen on the receiver. So I called customer support again and they sent me a new receiver and an install card. Well another week of the receiver and the antenna went out again. So I had enough and canceled my subscription.

My friend had the exact same problem and ended up canceling his subscription also.

So for the sirius sportster I give it a stern thumbs down I was very unhappy with the product. Sirius did a wonderful job making things right, but I cant fix this thing once a month if not more. It was installed professionally every time too.

Great radio, big letters and color background, you cannot go wrong with this model,works better if your radio has an aux plug, (no static).

like the big screen display. sounds clear and easy to deal with and hookup. bought it thought it would be a good purchase and i love music.

I like the satellite radio I bought because of the fact that you can tune into the music of your choice, and the fairly simple installation of the product makes it even better. I decided to buy the satellite radio because I was working for a farmer who had one in his tractor and it seemed to make the day go alot faster. You get a variety of music instead of the overplayed songs of regular radio. Why did I buy it, because it was at a very decent price of course. Thanks E-bay!

This is a great receiver, but you need the FM direct connect adapter. Without it, there is a lot of static, because it is hard to find a clear channel.

Everything works fine. Reasonable shipping time. The box did not have any screws in it though. I will have to buy them in order to mount the receiver in my truck.

Product was in excellent condition, price was right and delivery was quick. I looked at a number of items being sold and the condition of some were not to good and the price was high. I said why not buy direct the product shipped in excellent condition and I also had a limited warranty which I would not have had from a private buyer. Great experience great transaction.

Excellent radio. It's small, has recording capabilities, a remote and the rotary knob for changing stations makes all the difference. Dollar for dollar and feature for feature, I feel this is the best radio if you are on a budget.

If you do not pay the extra money to purchase the permanent installation kit and have it professionally installed, I would not recommend purchasing this product. You cannot effectively hide the wiring so looks unattractive. But, more to the point, reception near any power lines is filled with static.
