Sipping Saints by David R. Wilkerson (1978, Book)

Sipping Saints is a sobering book on casual drinking. I am a rehabilitated alcoholic and know all too well how social drinking is walking on thin ice. I know nothing good about alcohol and see it destroying lives all around me. This book says it like it really is and gives you Biblical support for why casual drinking is wrong. If you read this book with an open mind it gives you the insight and truth you will need to avoid social drinking. The book is geared towards those who profess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives yet choose to drink. I recommend the book to you no matter where you stand before God. It is a fast read. I fully support David Wilkerson's viewpoint and applaud him for being so brave to stand up and speak out.
