this is not the best cd by chumbawamba. I dont know it just kind of drags at times. the voices are very strong as well as the mucisian ship but the totality of the cd is on the slow end. it does have a very original cover of the clash song bank robber. all in all this is a good cd to go to sleep to.

) This is the album that got me started on Chumbawamba. Amazing harmonies, complex lyrics with a wonderful sense of history (Emma Goldman! The 1932 Mass Trespass!) and iconoclasm (the disparity between Christian Fundamentalists and the basic message of Christianity! an antidote to soppy monogamists!) and a beautiful call to action. If you're an old folkie and haven't checked out this band because of their punk/anarchist reputation, do yourself a favor and listen to this album. You may end up as big a fan of this band as I have. But do me a favor -- don't bid on their rarities until I've finished out my set, okay? And check out their own website for some things which are offered at a premium elsewhere, at a reasonable price.
