i worked and worried on which serger to buy and finally settled on this one. I love it...it is easy to learn to stitches if you are patient, and makes great seams and stitches...is all that it is advertised to be at a fraction of the cost of others...have no complaints...

) I purchased this because I wanted the five thread option, I own another serger with four threads, which is also very simple and easy to operate, this singer quantumlock took me a day to learn how to thread, it wasnt easy, but once i found out how, it was very fast, no problems and perfect stitches.
Singer does need to have manuals or visuals that do more explaining, but once you get the hang of it, it is an absolutely wonderful serger.

) It is a hard machine to learn and we are beginning to learn it. I think wher we have used it, it proved to be one of thhe best. I know that there are a lot of things it will do that we have not tried yet. I like it also because of it's name. Singer is a good OLD name. I like it and I am glad I saved money by going thru E-Bay.
