This sewing machine is easy to use, it is my first one and I knew absolutely nothing about using a sewing machine. It is very simple, and I have had no problems or complaints. A relative gave me a Brother sewing machine that is about the same as my singer and I had alot of trouble with the thread breaking and tangling in it. The material also catches in it. Thank goodness the singer hasn't given me any trouble. I will definately stay with my singer.

I decided to buy this sewing machine because the price was so reasonable. The bidding didn't go beyond my budget and the sewing machine had a lot of the capabilities that I was wanting.

The product came later than I expected and with %6.29 postage due, even though I had paid postage with the purchase price. I expected the one broken wheel that was disclosed, but the apron of the machine was also missing. The seller stated that the motor "hummed" when it was plugged in. It did not "hum" - when pedal was pushed the motor made a horrible grinding sound, It was in much worse conditon then I was lead to believe.
