) I bought this machine for my 8 yr, old daughter. I wanted something easy to use, but that would last her a long time. It has numeroud features and stitches, so it's not just a beginners machine, but is great for beginners. I would highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't need something with an abundance of extra features you may never use, but enough features to allow you to sew a variety of projects using several different kind of stitches.
