I have six sergers, and this one is my favorite. I already had this exact machine: I bought this one to give to my sister so she could have one too. I own a babylock, and other singer sergers, and some other brands, and this serger runs faster, and corners better than the others. This machine also takes upholstery fabric better than my Babylock.
It is a great machine for the price. I have never tried one of the 2000 dollar sergers, so I suppose those could be better, but I don't need fancy options. I need differential feed, which this machine is, and I need something that will do flatlock, rolled hem, a few other stitches and do upholstery fabric well. This machine does all that I need for a fraction of the cost of other machines. My babylock does no more than this machine and cost twice as much. Let's face it. The main thing I use a serger for is keeping the edges of fabric from fraying. This does it fast and corners well. If I want to do more, this machine will do much more.
If you want a machine that does all the basics for a good price I would recommend this machine!!

The machine came in the original box, the auction said used but it was almost new, hardly used, great and quick service from the seller, I loved that!
I had followed a couple of auctions but they went up to higher, actually higher then you would get in a store which is weird why anyone would want to pay more.
I had a good experience with this seller and would buy from them again.

Since recieving this serger machine, I have used it many times to make apparel and crafts, and I really have been pleased. It took time to figure out the proper way to use it, but the instructional DVD included along the the user's manual have been very helpful.
I have only used a serger a couple of times at a sewing class, but with practice and patience, you can create so many wonderful things.
The seller of this item was great as well. It was delivered on time and in perfect condition. I think that I got a very competitive price on it as well, and I would certainly purchase from this seller again in the future.

I like this machine a lot. It's simple and industrial. The second serger I have bought and I am much happier with this one than the Brother model I paid twice as much for. I ended up returning the Brother. It wouldn't serge through thicknesses like this Singer does. It's fast and efficient. It really gets the job done.
The only con to this machine is the threading. I guess most sergers take practice when it comes to threading but I do wish the lower loopers were more accessible. It's really a challenge to get them threaded. Once you do, though, it's a great machine to work on, especially for the price.
Overall, I'm very happy with it.

I am very very pleased with it , is easy to use, works very well and I could not be more pleased. Just what I needed . The description was well done. I had looked at the same model in a local store and had an idea what the going price was and it could do what I needed for sewing. I got it for less even with shipping on ebay.

I bought this surger for my mom 'cause she loves to sew.... we waited longer than we expected for it. When it finally arrived the first thing she did was an inspection, the description of the item said it had never been used by the owner but she found evidence that it had been used before and when she finally tried it out on actual fabric she noticed that the threads were wrinkling the fabric every so often, it was a pattern that happened only on soft fabrics, it sews perfectly on denim and wool. Until recently she told me it no longer wrinkles the fabric so i guess it was just a matter of time. All in all my mom was very happy with this item despite the little details and the machine was in mint condition like the seller promised.

I really like the serger I purchased. I have had so far no problems. It was everything that was advertised. The shipping was excellent and it came on time as they said it would. I could track it very easily.
I decided to buy it because I am retiring and wanted to have something to do. It has been a real joy.

I like it's potential to create professional finished seams.
I dislike that I have been able to create the finished seam that I would like to create as the seams are loose and tangle. It is difficult to know at this point if it is a learning curve on my part. The machine is an involved learning process.Or if there is a problem with the machine.

I purchased the surger for my mother in law for christmas. She hasn't had a chance to use it a lot however, she did get it out and she very happy with how it was built and all of its capabilities. It seems that this is a very good machine. She said it would do anything she wanted to do.

Was boutght for an African Orphanage school as donationI had one like this long time ago but was lost during the civil war, when we started this orphanage we needed to knit sweaters for the children and we had to pay for taking the knitted sweaters to be overlocked. More than I expectedI love this machine, it has almost everything a person wants in a serger. I bought this machine even I have read bad reviews of it but really the brand Singer is the best one for sewing machines. I was looking at alot of machines to replace my 20 year old machine, and I looked both online and in physical stores, I found the price to be excellent, and the product had the features I needed.
My Ebay shopping experience with this purchase was excellent and if possible even better. The company even contacted me to inform me of a problem with the box that the machine was packed in to see if I wonted it or another one, I was really impressed, I received the machine in approximately two days in perfect shape and have been using every day in my home diaper business and loving it. I can't say enough good thins about the people at AllBrands. They are the kind of business that more businesses need to copy. You don't find a lot of places that give that kind of customer service anymore.
I do know that the next time I need an item that they carry, they will be the place I will look first.
I am one very pleased Ebay buyer.
