Sing-a-Longs and Lullabies For the Film Curious George by Jack Johnson (CD, Feb-2006, Motown Records)

Jack Johnson is great not because he comes up with catchy tunes that you can sing along to and listen again and again but he has a corp of friends that he enlists whenever he makes an album. Many of the songs are from JJ but some of the best tunes are from people that he has met or played with. He gets such a great variety of music because of this. Its not just a surfer living out his dreams but a mix of souls, something that everyone can relate to in their diverse group of friends who all have their talent.

Even though the title says kids movie, the cd is one of Johnsons best cd's. He delivers a great message, the music is top notch and its some of the songs are extremely catchy. I highly recommend it.

I am a fan of Jack Johnson so when I heard he did this soundtrack I checked it out! I am glad I did. I downloaded a few songs and let my 3 yr old girls listen to them. My husband, my girls and I were all dancing by the computer!! It's nice to buy "kids" music that we as adults can enjoy as well.

If you're a Jack Johnson fan, you can't go wrong with this "Curious George" soundtrack. Even the almost too sugar-sweet tracks targeting the film's toddler audience are imbued with a cool and a mellow that are distinctively Jack Johnson.

If you want to relax it is a perfect music for you. Especially when you liked the cartoon. Or if you like the sound of a guitar. Before you buy it I recomend to watch "Upside down" video - you will have an opinion about a style of this CD. I really like to listen to it.

My grandchildren (5 and 3) love this cd. The songs are simple and fun. My daughter told me that she enjoys listening to it too! She says she enjoys it more than most of the other cd's her kids have.

I saw this movie with my kids and loved the music. It is so mellow and the words to the songs are so thoughtful. I always feel in a better mood when I listen to this cd!

Curious George pajamas. My friend tells me her daughter likes to wear the jammies

Can't tell you how much my 4-year-old son & I love it. We also have relative kids at around age 4-8, all love it. Up Side Down is not the only, People Watching, Talk of The Town, Wrong Turn, We Gonna Be Friends, Gungle Gym, 3R's are also great to us. Many people have posted them on Youtube so try them first then decide by yourself.

Purchased CD for relatives for christmas because they had literally worn out thier old one. Have no reason to believe this product will be less pleasing to them then the last one. They will be very happy to receive this gift. They are away now so the suprise persists. UPDATE: Received CD and the children and my daughter were very suprised to received a new one. They all just love this CD for riding in the car. The children are 3 3/4 yr. old twins and love to sing along with my daughter. Their Mommy.

I liked the relatively cheap price for the soundtrack of a great children's animated movie. It's a great soundtrack that can tries to teach a lesson to the youth with each song

This CD was a great bargain. I was specifically looking for this CD and ended up with a bonus as well. This CD was in excellent condition. It could not have been better.

My kids love it because they think of Curious George and the movie, and I love it because Jack Johnson has a very easy-to-listen-to voice. The re-do of the, "Three is a Magic Number", (from Schoolhouse Rock) was a nice surprise too. Just all nice and relaxing songs.

This CD has it all...music adults and kids will love.

Growing up I loved all of the Curious George books. When Curious George came back with a movie I had to get it for my kids. They love watching it. They liked the music too! So, I had to get the CD. We're listening to this CD all the time now. A+++

I bought this CD to use in my first grade classroom as they are working independently. I love this CD because it has catchy tunes without distracting the class; the vocals are smooth and mellow and the music is enjoyable with acoustic guitar, drums etc. It's not too cutesy like so many children's CDs. It's a great CD to pop in and let it play without the worry of a song that will disrupt the classroom atmosphere. Even the lyrics such as "reduce, reuse, recycle" and "we can change the world one hand at a time" are appropriate for today's children.

I needed this CD for my first grade class (I'm a first grade teacher), and I'm totally happy with this purchase. There are great, appropriate songs for this age group, and they are songs that I, as an adult, enjoy as well. The CD arrived in a timely manner, and was in excellent condition.
