I bought this set as a full screen version, The first movie The Golden Voyage actually gave you the choice to veiw wide screen on side A or Full Screen on side B. Thinking that the set would be the same, I was disappointed to find out that the other two movies in the set were wide-screen only. These folks at Columbia Tristar need to get it together. I feel cheated. At least make the set's alike, Or at least give the customer the choice on what version they would like to view.

Hey the gang up at Sony/Columbia has your best interests at heart, they took a masterpiece such as this and converted it from its original full screen format to a 1.85 : 1 widescreen version, thereby cropping the top and the bottom of the original frame. We know as collectors that we don't want to the see the film in its original format, we want to see it cut, cropped and grainy, such as this overblown piece of pluvial crap ! This is not the only film that Sony/Columbia has ruined by special effects great Ray Harryhausen. Widescreen versions of It Came From Beneath The Sea, Earth Vs The Flying Saucers, 20 Million Miles To Earth, Mysterious Island and Jaqson & The Argonauts. These films should not be purchased by collectors, they should boycott the product.
They should remaster these products and give the public the full screen version and not cave in to the this widescreen manial craze.

This was a great find. I've been wanting this set for some time. I grew up watching these movies and was awed at the amazing creatures that Harryhausen had created. These movies have been combined into a wonderful Sinbad 3-pack. Not only are the movies in great shape, each DVD contains several documentaries about Harryhausen and his brilliant special effects.

If your a child of the 60's, these movies will take you back to when times were simpler. I first enjoyed them at the urging of my father and have passed them on to two more generations, my children, and my grandchildren. I still enjoy them almost forty years after first seeing them. Take the time to share them with your own new generations and keep the epic adventure alive.

I am a 62 year old baby boomer and enjoyed these movies in my earlier years when they were only available at the theaters and later on tv. About 20 years ago,I purchased vcr versions of these movies and others like them and enjoyed them with my niece who is now in college. I now enjoy the dvd versions with my granddaughter. My niece has found out about this purchase and has asked to borrow them when she returns home from college next weekend. These movies can remain popular for years as long as they are properly presented into a child's life at an appropriate age. I will, most likely, purchase them again on the next type of media for my great grandchildren. (If I live that long)

i save money , dvd stores around my town ask for twice the money.ebay is the way to shop.every where i went looking for this collection ,i always saw it for a very high price.

What a great buy to have all three of these movies in one purchase. I can't wait for a day when I can curl up and watch all three in one day. It's a shame these don't come on tv anymore

These movies bring back good memories I saw them when I was younger.My favorite one is Eye of the tiger.In this movie Prince Kasyem is turned into a baboon by Queen zonobya,because of this Prince Kasyem could not become Kalief-King.Now it is up to Sinbad to return him to normal.To do this they need to find Maylanthis who is a very wise man he knowes of a place that will help Prince Kasyem.The place that they need to go to is the Shrine of Areamesh which is located in the northern most part of the world.When they arive at there destnation they incounter a giant trogladite who helps them into the Shrine.There prince Kasyem is returned back to normal and now he can become Kalief-King.

I love these styles of movies since I was a kid. I used to watch these with my grandmother when I stayed with her over the summer as a kid. These are 3 of the best!

This is the definite Harryhausen Box set. Beautiful color. Spectacular special effects. Great acting. They don't make movies like this anymore!!

I ordered this set because I really like stop-motion animation and sci-fi adventure movies. This set was an excellent bargain and more than worth the price. The box itself is a little flimsy, but it's basically the stiff paper stuff that video tapes come in. However the DVD's themselves are in stiff plastic just like any other DVD movie. Besides the box the set is excellent so order it if you just can't get enough of Ray Harryhausen's genius.

I bought these movies because I had seen them as a kid and really enjoyed them. I love the effects! If you're a fan of fantasy these are a must see.

My wife and I love these movies. They are great. Usually you can find only the single titles in movie stores but this is a great way to get all three movies.
The action in the movie is good, the story line in each movie is well thought out.

All these movies brought back great memories of going to the movies to see them The sound still needs a little work (in mono),but all in all I'm glad I bought them. I would recomend them to any one.

For all those old movie buffs, this collection is a must. Clamation at its best. These three classics have been remastered and are better than ever. Enjoy, I know I will.
