The Sims (PlayStation 2, 2003)

I bought this game for my 8 yr. old daughter who loves playing the PC Version. The game play for the Playstation version is quite different from the PC Game which she struggles with causing her to lose interest. The game over all looks really cool, great graphics and soundtrack makes for long hours of
SIMulated FUN.

This is a very easy game to play if you are interested in simulation games. You can choose to "Get a life" and pick make your very own character. In this part of the game, you progress throughout your character's life, trying to make them a better Sim. You teach them skills, get them a job, a better home, better material possesions... etc. You have to do all of this, while trying to keep your Sim in a good mood (that is the challenge). There is also this other section in which you "Make a Neighborhood". In this portion of the game you must maintain the lives of a whole family in the household, and may switch from one family to the next in the whole neighborhood. This part can be a little more difficult. So in conclusion, if you are thinking of trying a good simulation game... This would be a very good choice... and the best part? The game never ends!

this is an awsome game...the graphics are great, the music is good, and it will provide hours of fun for any age!

I recently purchased The Sims Playstation 2 game. I was very pleased with the product. It was in perfect condition.

Mad good game Every one will like it there is so much to do places to be people to be mad good i say mad good.

The game has loads of items to buy and make your sim look like you.It is fun to watch your love ones pee their pants and cry.The monkey butler is the best item to own.You can be a rock star or a crook.Only bad things is no pets and not many things to wear.The looks of the game is as good as the computer title.

I bought this game for my son since he loves the one made for your PC. This PS2 game version of The Sims is very difficult. This is a very, very, very hard game to play. My 14 year old brother even gave it a try and he couldn't play it either. My 40 year old uncle then gave it a try and nobody really understood the game and it is much different from the PC version. I don't recommend it.

I think this is an ok game even though its not the best I've played. It can be annoying or at the same time it can be very entertaining.

ilove to plays for hours but my brother have it for his xbox he sold it.so i check on ebay they have it.

This was purchased by an 11 year old boy who decided that he didn't like it very much after we purchased it. Here's what he says: "The graphics were horrible, it kept freezing up, and he had to restart every time it froze. I decided to buy it because it looked good, I have the Sims bustin' out and thought it would be as good as that one but I was very disappointed."

I absolutely love this game! The missions really keep it interesting. Its not violent and there is no sex in the game. Its a lot cleaner than some of the other Sims games. I recommend it for ages 10 and up.

Its challenging to complete the missions. there are a few glitches, but most video games are full of them. This game didn't have as many as most games.

Considering the hours of fun you'll have playing it, its definitely worth the money.

Kids play this game and play this game and...... They love it. As their Grandma, I think it should be for 12 or older. The Game is a lot of fun.

I loved the price and the shipping time, but unfortunatley the game didnt work on my PS2. But oh well thats the price you pay when you buy a used item.

I loved the original Sims for Playstation 2 but I broke it. I saw the opportunity to purchase a new copy for less than five dollars. It was a good copy and I am still using it as of this morning. Thanks!

I like this game it has alot of room to expansion. My kids love it when they come home or start a new game it is not the same ol thing you control the action.

I really wanted to buy this game because my little brother kept making new houses and saving them to my computer and it was slowing the whole thing down so i figured that it would resolve that problem. I was wrong though because he can't play the game and let us watch tv at the same time and the playstation game is not as fun as the computer one is. darn. i guess it would be a fun game if you were sooo board that you have nothing in the world else to do.

This is such an awsome game!! It may be rated teen but it is still fun to play. Its not bad...... Its the best!

I wanted to get this game for myself to play. I have heard so much about it and had to see for my self. I like the game and want to try the other ones. The only thing I don't like is that the game did not come with a manual and it is very hard to find one online.

My own children loved this games while they were growing up.
Lots of room for creativity compared to other games. Got this
for a Sub-4-Santa gift. A little concerned after reading the
box that "contains mature themes". Don't remember that in the
old packaging. Hope game is only "mildly" mature.
