The Sims: Pet Stories (PC Games, 2007)

This game was nothing what i was expecting it to be. I love the sims and was hooked ever since i played for the first time. This game tho is nothing like the original in terms of moving around the screen. Also you can go into anything on the build mode or change any thing in build mode (windows, doors etc) until you win the game, granted winning is not that challenging. I think this game should be rated for teens only.

This game is easier on the coputer to play but still should check those minimun requirements because this game requires more than the Sims Life Stories does. But best for someone with a small hard drive and not much ram as it is sims and even this smaller version is demanding. I play it on Vista OS with 1 gig ram and onboard 945gma and does well. The stories are fun and teach you to play sims if you are new to the game. After finishing the story you can just play regular sims2 and just have less items to play with but that provides a better, smoother gameplay.

Love this game, especially because it's laptop-friendly! Plenty of shortcuts and great graphics. Not only is there a story mode, there is also a free-play mode!

I bought "The Sims Pet Stories" recently and I absolutely love it! I love "The Sims" PC Games. The Sims Pets Stories is extremely fun. I am a mad collector of all Sims games. I have all "The Sims" PC games from the very first one that was made. Yeah...You all remember the Sims PC games that the graphics wasn't so great....LOL(laugh out loud)...I have those too. The Sims Stories series is different from the regular Sims games but is still way cool. I have no complaints about this game. Check it out! I recommend this game to all out there who love The Sims!

I have always enjoyed playing The Sims series and this one is no different. I just wish there were more story lines to play.
I'll be watching for more of The Sims!

I LOVED THE SIMULATION AND GAMEPLAY, MUCH LIKE ALL THE OTHER SIMS GAMES! I MAY FAVOR THIS GAME BECAUSE I LOVE DOGS AND IF YOU ARE PET LOVER, THEN IT GIVES YOU A CHANCE TO BE A VIRTUAL PET OWNER OF A SHOW DOG!

The game has a lot of flaws. The games has froze up and shut down unexpectedly several times. It also got stuck on one of the goals and will not move on, so I can not finish the scenerio. It has been very frustrating.

'The Sims 2: Pet Stories' is a fantastic upgrade to 'Life Stories'; the earlier game in the series. The writing is better, the scenarios more polished, and the characters more well rounded. Where 'Life Stories' reads like a bad tween-made fan-fiction, 'Pet Stories' is much more interesting, less schmaltzy, and actually has the player make a few decisions in the end, unlike its predecessor.

The thing I disliked about 'Life Stories' was the way the game lead you along, irrespective of your personal choice in the matter. In this way, 'Pet Stories' is not as bad, there are certain decisions you can make, (especially in the Midnight Masquerade plot), and the decisions are less forced. I felt less like I were moving along a pre-set storyline, and more like I were interacting with an existing storyline.

That said, As a big fan of 'the Sims Busting Out' on Playstation 2, as well as 'the Urbz' -- neither of the 'Stories' games compare to that, mostly due to the limited game mechanic of the Sims 2, however I feel 'Pet Stories' definitely comes close. There were some fun cut-scenes and the game took me a little bit longer to finish compared to the first one, for me-- around two days.

I think Sims 2 fans would not be bored with this one, I enjoyed it enough that I have changed my opinion regarding getting the third game in the series, 'Castaway Stories'

I don't know a whole lot about the sims series. My kids enjoy the games and is usually what I by them and is safe for their age.

can,t get it to work, please help although I love the sims I will keep working on putting it on. aqny advise on how to make it work please i have put it on my computer and my laptop it keeps freezeiing and have not have had a chance to play.
