One happy note is the character creator, which will be far more robust than the "sims 2". The Sims 3 include a gradient tool that you can select a more-nuanced skin tone for your characters, it also come with new slider tools to build your selected characters, from fat to thin, and from flabby to muscular. Plus, you can change the looks of eyes, eyebrows, nose length/height/width, and so on, along with plenty of sliders and meters and doohickeys to let obsessive players tweak to their hearts' content.
Your "Sims" can look more stylish because The Sims 3 come with many more clothing options, including shirts, pants, and one-piece suits, hats, glasses, shoes, and more accessories such as wristwatches, bracelets, and many types of jewelry. Like in The Sims 2, if your sims give birth to a little bundle of joy, in the sims 3 that there are so many more little things that impact conception and pregnancy.
The Sims 3, life will take place within one seamless, streaming neighborhood, you control a household of sims, but all of the other sims in your town live and develop as you play, where every character is being motivated by unique personality traits and motives.
Overall Sims 3 is a game you can't miss in 2009.
