If you love simulation game - pick "THE SIMS 3"

One happy note is the character creator, which will be far more robust than the "sims 2". The Sims 3 include a gradient tool that you can select a more-nuanced skin tone for your characters, it also come with new slider tools to build your selected characters, from fat to thin, and from flabby to muscular. Plus, you can change the looks of eyes, eyebrows, nose length/height/width, and so on, along with plenty of sliders and meters and doohickeys to let obsessive players tweak to their hearts' content.

Your "Sims" can look more stylish because The Sims 3 come with many more clothing options, including shirts, pants, and one-piece suits, hats, glasses, shoes, and more accessories such as wristwatches, bracelets, and many types of jewelry. Like in The Sims 2, if your sims give birth to a little bundle of joy, in the sims 3 that there are so many more little things that impact conception and pregnancy.

The Sims 3, life will take place within one seamless, streaming neighborhood, you control a household of sims, but all of the other sims in your town live and develop as you play, where every character is being motivated by unique personality traits and motives.

Overall Sims 3 is a game you can't miss in 2009.

AMAZING !! But Dont Pay More Than $5

This is a great product! But it can be expensive! I'm glad I found www.ultimate-free-gifts.co.uk where I got mine for free :)

All I did was sign up and then completed ONE offer. I recommend the CreditReport 7 day FREE trial ,OR the Seattle Coffeeoffer as it is FREE to complete and takes a few minutes!

There are many alternative offers you can complete such as the King.com offer where you have play through $5. There is a chance you will win your money back anyway!

There are many other gadgets I can get for free this way, such as consoles, iPhones, iPods, Plasma TV's and the list goes on

Visit: www.ultimate-free-gifts.co.uk

before you think about putting your hands into your pocket for this gadget.

The site can afford to send out these "free" gifts because you have to complete an offer first. They get paid commission when me and you do so, which is used to buy the gift with money left over as profit for them!

I hope you enjoy the extra $$$'s saved in your bank account from using ultimate-free-gifts.co.uk :)

  What's It All About?!

The chances are you’ll have either played or heard of the Sims franchise. With over 100 million units sold across the Globe, The Sims is the biggest PC franchise in history. For this third iteration in the strategic life-simulation series, the gameplay has evolved rather than changed drastically from its original format.

In The Sims 3 you can once again expect to follow the daily activities of one of more virtual persons across an open-world neighbourhood. With a wealth of possibilities at your fingertips, it’s up to you to shape the destiny of your characters by determining their traits and career paths, while forging plenty of relationships along the way. Essentially, you're tasked with micro-managing your virtual life in this colourful suburb, earning cash in the process and building your ideal home on your way to acheiving your ultimate life-time goal.

The Sims 3 expands on previous iterations by offering a number of new features, including an expanded creation tool that allows you to extensively customize your Sim and in-game items, from wallpaper to floorboards. Buy and Build modes have been refined and a whole host of new community features have been added, including the ability to create movies and share them with friends. Sims fans can also look forward to public events that will take place in the neighbourhood, including pool parties and barbecues, as well as public protests and movie premieres.

It’s The Sims as we know it, with even more to think about than ever before. Like previous games, you're only limited by your own creativity and the amount of time you're willing to invest in creating your virtual lifestyle.

The Sims 3 is worth buying on Ebay

What an amazing game this is. You can walk down to the ocean, or jog, or drive. You can picnic in the park or buy out a business. Motherlode works to gain $50,000 Simoleons everytime you press Ctrl Shift and c. It helps the game so much. Promotions are often, and you can even take classes to learn how to fish, charisma speeches, how to cook, and other talents. When you visit the grocery store, you can buy all types of items like watermelon, cheese, and fish, steaks, and lobster. To access these items you must go into your sim's inventory and click to eat it. The kitchens have cabinets and the beds are all comfortable (I believe). There's a wide assortment of flooring and wall coverings as well as brick and siding for the exterior amongst others. Lifetime goals have a nice payoff, and the points accrue automatically slowly, yet get higher as your sim completes promised wishes. The cars are more current and the driveways are now called parking spots with a small barrier the width of the car (a long wide piece of cement to show the parking space). This game has laptops, cell phones, and high definition tv's. It has a city hall to change a sim's name. It has fishing and football, jogging and swimming along with an exercise center, spa, and many fishing holes marked with an anchor. When you catch a fish, it goes straight into your inventory. It has space rocks on the beach and all sorts of gems and metals you can have cut. Pay increases are quick and even quicker if you choose for your sim to "work hard" while at the workplace. If you live by the sand and ocean your sim will feel like they are at a special vista boosting the happiness of that sim. You'll see this in the square with all of their fulfilled instances and it will show a curvy slide. You can call friends to meet you wherever you are in the town by using a cell phone you have with you at all times. There are 10% off sales at the bookstore and paychecks each week when you buy a building. In a sense you can be whatever you want to be and yet still become a business tycoon. When venturing off somewhere, instead of loading the destination, this game allows you to "go with your sim" to the destination without changing screens making it so that you could walk across town downtown, or down to the ocean. For instance, if you live on the beach, you can click on the sand, and have your sim jog down to the beach and go beach combing or jogging, or even just for a walk. Volumes on the TV and stereo can be controlled by clicking on it and selecting adjust volume to low. The phone doesn't ring off the hook usually and you can keep up with people like in real life on the cell phone provided. I believe the cell phone is a maroon Blackberry Curve 8330 or better because it has the appearance of a smartphone. It has a game system that resembles XBOX 360 and also another device that resembles virtual reality (like previous versions of The Sims). When you have your sim go to the spa, especially the $3,000.00 treatment for 3,000 simoleons, your sim becomes completely at ease for a full 7 days. When your sim sits down to eat pizza, their hunger becomes fully topped off after just one slice. When ordering a pizza, the cost is 30 Simoleons and your sim will answer the door automatically and receive the pizza better than the previous versions of The Sims such as Sims 1 and Sims 2.Now go get this game and put the FU back into FUN! If you've mostly enjoyed previous versions of The Sims, you'll love The Sims 3!

What I Enjoy About The Sims Games
Review created: 05/19/09

I have been hooked on the sims because it a great game to play. I have different Sims 2 games. I have Sims University, Sims Apartment, the Sims 2 with Nightlife, Sims Pets, and Sims Seasons.

What is so great about the game is getting to create your own sims, building houses and stores, creating pets, and so much more. People who have never played the Sims games are missing out.

I can't wait to get Sims 3.

  SIMS 3 REVIEW
Review created: 06/14/09

i have the Sims 3 and i really do love it. The detail is much better than the previous games. The option where you can walk around town is very nice. You can really control your sims children much better after they move out; you dont really have to switch the households and everything cause as long as your playing a household they are aging up somewhere else. You can also visit them if you miss them or something haha. There are two flaws that I do dislike about the Sims 3... One is that the fast forwarding process like when your sim is sleeping or at work is extremely slow. I could go take a shower or eat while my person sleeps and its on triple speed. Also there isn't as much hair or clothing options in the Sims 3. They make you use points that you have to buy. I give it a 5/5 though because everything else in the game makes up for the two flaws

aww mann, i love the sims. the bestest game i ever played and loved. seriously, there should be a sims 3 for playstation 3. i would totally love it. It really sucks because theres no sims 3 game for ps3. Its only for pc and i don't like it since it slows down the computer and hard to play. I like it on the ps3 better.

  Sims 3

The Good things:
1) Finally you can go around the town and see houses and surroundings.
2) Object placing is great!
3) You can design any outfit, almost any, there are a few textures, but there are full color choice.
4) Sims characters is a great idea!
5) There is a great content and a lot of options in the game.
6) Ajusting life spam length to what and how you like it is a good idea... sims can age fast or slow, just as you choose

Bad things:
1) You can not visit friends and Community lots, like VISIT and SEE your sims there and controll them.
2) Too few control over the town lots.. you can't place a lot anywhere (all almost anywhere... there are too many empty places.
3) Most additional official content costs real money.
4) Too few textures.
5) The faces still look like potatoes....

Worth buying? Yes, but no more than for $35.

Basically 7.4\10 My grade. (above average).

.Their is only 1 neiborhood in the entire game.

I've played just about all the sims in the franchise... and I owned all the expansions of sims 2.

And I must say that Sims 3 is by far the best addition to the Sims franchise yet!

Highly Recommended!

After playing the Sims 2 for so long, it took me a while to get used to this new format. I wasn't sure if I liked it at first, because it is so different. Now I am a firm believer out with the old and in with the new! The game is so much more complex. I purchased it because I've been playing the Sims since it was first released. It's so cool all of the advances that have been made since the very begining. I love it and recommend it.

The Sims 3 provides a similar gaming experience to The Sims 2, but with a lot of great updates. The transition from home to town is much easier to make. The neighborhood is more interactive as well, which offers a more realistic feel.

I LOVE THE SIMS 3, WHAT DO YOU THINK!
Review created: 06/08/09
4 of 5 people found this review helpful.

Critical response was generally favorable, with Metacritic calculating a metascore of 86 based on 26 reviews.[58]

PC Gamer awarded The Sims 3 a 92% and an Editor's Choice badge, calling it "The best Sims game yet".[11][58]

IGN PC awarded The Sims 3 an 8.9/10, stating: "This is simply a better playing Sims experience, and once you experience the freedom to hit the town without hitting a load screen you’ll be hard-pressed to go back to any of the earlier games". The review also said the following: "Blowing up the size of the game was certainly a risk, but it was a sensible and overdue one, and kudos to EA for recognizing that the decade-old formula needed some growth. And while there’s still plenty of room for more innovation, we’ll settle for The Sims 3 for now. It delivers a solid foundation for what should be many more years of Sims sales dominance".[53] However, IGN's 8.9 ranking is slightly lower than previous base Sims games (The Sims received a 9.5 ranking, and The Sims 2 received a 9).[citation needed]

GameSpot awarded The Sims 3 a score of 9.0/10, the review praised the game: "The latest Sims game is also the greatest, striking a terrific balance between the fresh and the familiar".

little slower than the previous games and somewhat confusing as they have taken some things out (clothes, household items, etc.) and changed other things that you have to relearn where and when to use them. Annoying pop-up of tutorial just when you don't need it there. All in all, a fine game. Oh, when building a Sim....their heads look distorted. It took me some time to figure out how to get them back to a normal look.
