The Sims 2: Seasons (PC Games, 2007)

As a married woman with a 5 year old and another little one on the way soon, I find spending a little of my free time playing this game. I have been able to drown my mother-in-law along with my husbands' sisters in the backyard pool without even going to jail. Or even locking my husband in the closet and removing the door when he eats my snacks that he sworn not to touch. The SIMS gives everyone a chance to do things they always wanted to do or be whatever they want to be. :)
I have been in love with THE SIMS since they first came out years ago. Fell even harder for THE SIMS 2. I have purchased all the expansion packs along the way. The latest expansion THE SIMS 2 Seasons is just as hot and brings you a little bit closer to actual life. What would life be without summer, winter, spring and fall????? Why not let the annoying sister in laws freeze in the winter and burn in the summer? I just can't wait until they come out with another pack. With all future packs it can only get better.

I skipped the Stuff packs and the last two EPs after careful consideration. I use a lot of custom content downloaded from the web and each new pack always risks breaking said content. However, I've wanted a weather system in my game even as far back as when I was playing the original Sims 1 so this EP excited me from the start. I was still a little nervous about losing my custom content but the propspect of real thunderstorms and snow flurries was worth the gamble. After installing it, I loaded my custom content back in and whaddaya know? Most of it still works, despite having only had Nightlife and University installed beforehand! I only lost the use of a couple of game mods I can easily live without -- all of my favorite mods and custom objects still work fine. I have noticed that pre-Seasons custom trees turn blue and flash on the Neighborhood screen when the seasons change (I'm guessing because the creators didn't have a way to code for fall and winter at the time) but in the lot itself they look fine. I haven't noticed any significant slowing of the game during winter either, despite rumors that this might be a problem. In all it's a real stable, fun addition to my game that's great for the screenshots I love to take! Way to go, EA Games!

I bought The Sims 2:Seasons expansion pack as soon as i could pre-order it. I love the sims 2. This game adds a new graphic style to it, which is WEATHER and of course the 4 seasons, which you can modify how you want your seasons to be done. (Fall, winter, summer,spring, witner, winter, summer all year etc). You get new outwear clothing, and tons of new objects to style your house for the new seasons. One of the main fetures in here is Gardening. You can build greenhouses and grow 24/7. Fishing is another feature added. Seasons adds new items, new social intereactions, seasons, weather, clothing, and alot more little quirks as new jobs, 6 to be total. Its the BEST expansion pack imo, the sims 2 Pets, and Seasons are the 2 biggest editions to your Sims world.

The game itself is awesome. Sims can now make snow angels, watch the rain, plant gardens, etc. etc. I have to say, my favorite part is that they can refrigerate leftovers! As with other Sims games, it can be a bit glitchy at times, and I seem to notice that the glitchiness increases with the number of expansions you have. I think it's worth the occasional glitch, however. Super fun!!

I bought the Sims 2 Seasons expansion pack a weeks or so ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available in this expansion. Your sims can wear coats and jackets to coinside with the weather, they can experiance ALL 4 seasons! It is so cool! They can build their own snowmen! Talk about family activity! Oh and snow angels! and even more so a cute little penguin roams around at night like a skunk does in the pet expansion, and get this...GARDENING!. They can grow their own produce! They have the choice of keeping the fruits of their labor or selling them! Also juicing the fruits and veggies can benefit you sim! For example: students can be very diligent after drinking a mouth-watering grade apple juice! Overall, I'd recommend the expansion if you're on a die hard sim fan, like myself.

We purchased this product because we love and are absolutely addicted to the sims! This added alot of new and interestings things to our game. The slide in the pool, making snow angels, planting and taking care of a garden. Not to mention all the new objects and building tools. We really enjoy this expansion pack.

storms are cool ,the thunderstorms look real and sound ring ,i wish i had faster pc but my pc does pretty good with it ,its must have all sims players

I'm a fan of the sims series,and this was a reasonable price for the game,and in great condition too.

I was surprised on how short a time it took to get here. The disc was in good sharp and so was the booklet.

There are so many pleasant surprises now in The Sims 2 with this expansion pack. The main thing you have to remember is to put a roof on your houses and you'll be set. I haven't been through all of the seasons yet, but so far I'm really liking it. It really makes the game more interesting!

Many additions come with Seasons, from plant people to hottub lightning electricutions, to sim temperature as well as changing hair to go with each outfit, this expansion adds a good bit of depth to an already great game, pair this with Sims 2 Double Deluxe & Pets and you have endless Sim life. I would say this expansion is a MUST HAVE for fans of the series, but might need further description online before a beginner sim player should consider.

Great game, the kids play it all the time!! I prefer to buy used because we have 8 kids and things have a tendency to get worn out quickly. This Sims pack is definitely worth the money, the kids love the gardening, fishing and winter fun.

The game seasons is not as entertaining as I expected, it does not come with a lot of new objects (handful). I expected the temperature to be more obvious, blazing heat, stormy nights but nothing so far. Would not recommended it! University, nightlife or business are better as they give a different dimension of the game.

Needed the game for my daughter. It arrived just as advertised. New and sealed. The Sims games are a very important item in my household and to be able to buy them for such a great price makes it all worth while. I will be buying more games from this vendor.

I love this game. I am a huge simmer, and I found it very much fun. I would recommend this game to anyone.. There is alot that you can do new in this game, but just to have the seasons change is fun.

This is a great addition to my large collection of the sims2 games. To be able to change the seasons in your sims universe puts a new spin on the game, I love it!
