The Sims 2: Nightlife (PC Games, 2005)

Finally, cars!! Like Hot Date, your sims can date and build relationships faster, but if you want your sims to get closer without having crushes on everyone, Nightlife allows you to go out on an outing with one or more sims! New items, new interactions, much better than the first expansion pack, University!

Sims 2 Nightlife is one of the more favored expansion packs(EP) for the Sims 2 game. Since this is an EP, you will need to own the original Sims 2 game to play.
The best feature of nightlife is the ability to for your sims to own cars. However, one reason why the game gets a good, instead of excellent rating is the sparsity of choice in car ownership. Still, adding garages and outings is a very fun enhancement to the game. With Nightlife, sims can now pick up dates or friends and have an outing on the town. Dates and outings are a new goal oriented task where your sim must exercise social skills to make an enjoyable experience for yourself and your guests. Fun group activities are available with the new interactive objects that come with the EP; bowling, a DJ booth, poker table, and a karaoke machine to name a few. There are 125 new objects total. Another enhancement is the new Pleasure life aspiration. Pleasure sims have life goals of partying, dating, and otherwise enjoying themselves. The game also adds a new area to your neighborhood called downtown. Downtown is populated by down-townies, (non-playable sims, whom your sim can interact with, date, or marry) including a rich "diva" sim who comes with a simolean bonus, vampire sims, who can turn your sim into a vampire, and a gypsy who can cure your sim of vampirism or set them up on a blind date for the right price. These added features make Nightlife a must-have for any sims addict. Compared to other EP's, nightlife is one of the more thorough, with more added features, game and player options than most of the other EP's.

Nightlife is an interesting expansion for the Sims 2. As oppossed to Univeristy, there's nothing so great added to the game, that you must use the new features, but its chock full of little things that make things easier. Buy this expansion so you can see your neighbors houses from your sims lot, and jump between neighboring houses without loading the neighboring screen. Buy it for the handy community lot menu that pops up when your leaving your lot, so you can select your destination without loading any extra screens. Some nice extra items are added and the dating mini-game isn't half bad.

Move your SIMS to downtown at night :
All Sims life style have more change. Move them to new area, get new date at night. More sims emotions. Sims night dance, have dinner under lantern. Take sims to DJ, KARAOKE, VAMPIRE, Hot services. This expendsion great to have Cars for Sims.

If you are like me and loved The Sims: Hot Date, then you would love this game!! Not only does it have an AWESOME downtown edition to it, it also allows you to be able to have influence points. This option allows you to be able to make people clean, serve a meal, hug and kiss strangers and gobs of other options. It also allows you to have Dream Dates with someone that you may have a crush on, which brings your mood up all the way if you have one. This game is BY FAR my favorite installment from MAXIS! This was a wonderful expansion pack. I loved playing with just the regular Sims, no expansions. This just added to the fun. My Sims enjoyed their cars, even though they didn't like to save Simoliens for them. They loved going out on a date, or even just a night away from home. It made my Sims, that were great, even BETTER! Recommended!

Nightlife adds so much to The Sims 2 game. You now have cars, you can go on real dates, and there are so many new places to go Downtown! You can create your own downtown or use the one created by Maxis. Either way, Nightlife is a game you will want to own.

Back in the old days there was hot date. Nightlife takes that to a new level. you can go downtown alone or with friends, drive a car there if you like! new pleasure aspiration lets you have as much fun as you want. oh yea and did I mention there are now vampires? There are alot of new interactions and gameplay for this one. If you have no other expansion packs, get this one first. put the fun back into your game.

I've been playing the sims since they first came out when i was about 12. Now, this game takes it to a whole new level.! I LOVE IT! Finally, we can have cars and drive ourselves to work. There are Vampires that can stalk you.... I would HIGHLY recommend this game!!

I love everything about this game. it's a A plus in my book. The sims are able to go downtown and have a night life! become a vampire and also own the businessess down there. My favorite part is being a vampire. recommend all ages!!!!!!!!!!

I like how you can take your Sims downtown to go bowling and eat out. I like the fancy dancing lights that you can put into your own household. It's very fun, and the additional content is great for any Sim lover. I decided to buy it because I liked most of the add-on content that you can put in your game.

I love the driveable cars,the new decor items,the pleasure aspiration,the new outfits,etc.I enjoy what it adds to my game.And having a downtown for my sims to go to is great especially in boring neighborhoods.

This expansion pack is great because it adds more reality to the Sims 2. You can get a cool car, go downtown for a date, eat at a fancy restraunt, eat at a family restraunt, go bowling with friends, go to the clubs, call a taxi anytime, meet vampires, become a vampire, customize your Downtown, visit a friends house, and buy lots of clothes. I loved this expansion pack.

I like how you can turn into vampires, go downtown and see a gypsy. You can drive in cars too. The clothing stores downtown are cool too.

i see my kids living on the sim valley, this game is exellent because there is no violence or dead people, the object is work (hard sometimes) to buy a new home, buy pets, make friends and living the extraordinary experience in a virtual life on Sim´s City.
Be cool buy some for your kids, and support the NON - VIOLENCE GAMES, or if you´re a gamer, buy another for you to.
