FINALLY, a new season on DVD!

Chances are, if you are reading this, you are already such a fan of the Simpsons, you need no introduction. Just a few quick details you may not be able to pick up from the photo ...
This is the first season to be released in BOTH a regular box set and a special edition package. The contents are the same. The "Homer Head" collector's edition is made of plastic -- not metal. This package does have a nice card-style disk holder that is easier to access than the boxed version. The plastic cover itself, though, isn't especially durable. About the density of those wobbly-sided plastic Slurpee cups.
If you buy the collector's edition, it comes with a card you can fill out to get the standard box (empty) to match the rest of your Simpsons DVD collection for free.
As with previous seasons, this one does not disappoint. You can again select to watch the DVD all the way through, or by episode -- with or without commentary.
The ONLY negative-esque thing I have to say is I hope we Simpsons fans won't have to wait this long between full-season releases ever again!
