Description
Mr. Burns is up to his greedy ways again. Burns has purchased the Springfield Transit Corporation for $1 million and has jacked up the fares in an attempt to gouge the citizens of Springfield. Instead of paying outrageous fares, people are opting to drive everywhere, and the streets have become jammed with angry commuters. From Mo's bar to the nuclear power plant, the good people of Springfield are now engaged in all out "road rage." It is up to the citizens to earn enough money to buy back the Transit Corporation and return peace to the city.

The Simpsons Road Rage blends renowned Simpsons wit and edge-of-your-seat racing action to create a fun, reckless and riotously funny arcade-style driving game. In this new interactive Simpsons episode, players can take control of one of 22 of their favorite characters including Apu, Barney and Marge, as they embark on the wacky, but skill-based missions. In order to earn enough money to buy back the Transit Corporation from Mr. Burns, gamers must drive through the city picking up passengers and taking them where they want to go. Players must drive like hell, crash through obstacles, dodge traffic or bash their way through passengers and cargo before time runs out.

Simpsons are great but Replay Value is extremely Low!!

    Simpsons: Road Rage

This game is a lot like the Sega Dreamcast game Taxi Driver. It works on the same premise.

However, like Taxi Driver, this game loses it's replay value after about a week.

    Pros:

    - Tons of Simpsons Characters
    - Lots of Vehicles
    - Great detail put into the Town of Springfield

    Cons:

    - Graphics are a little lame
    - After the jokes and the city design wear off the game quickly loses replay value
    - Incredibly easy to beat

    Final Verdict:

    2/5

Rent or Buy: If you're a fan of the Simpsons (and who isn't?) rent this game for a week and play it till you're blue in the face. Then take it back and rent something with a little more substance.

The Simpsons Road Rage, GTA for kids

The Simpsons Road Rage was not the best, but it could have been better.

The Simpsons Road Rage is obviously a GTA knock-off with The Simpsons name slapped on it, don't get me wrong it has its moments, but it has nothing that sets it apart from any other GTA knock-off, other than you control the Simpsons, and roam around in Springfield.

    THE GOOD
It has a few # of cars that you can ride in (you only hop in with the driver and then you control it, what you think The Simpsons would steal?) along with a BONUS car you can find in each level, like the Itchy & Scratchy creator’s rocket car, an atv, to name a few.

The best thing about The Simpsons Road Rage is the millions of Simpsons Easter eggs that die-hard fans such as myself know. Like all the different outfits that you can buy for the characters, which come from certain TV shows, character's houses, along with other famous Springfield landmarks.

    THE BAD
Combat, if you can even call it that it is just a hit button that you only use to kill robot bees, and people, if you want. You can tell that this game was meant to be more of a driving based mission, than anything, unlike GTA.

Levels, there are six I believe, but only 3 different ones, when you come back they are just different times of day, (although there is some minor changes to the terrain that you caused in other missions (like a cinematic of you blowing up a building, just an ex.)but at night in the one level different spooky cars appear.

All in all the came may not satisfy a hard core gamer, but may be to the liking of any true Simpsons fan or children, (although some missions are quite hard even for a kids, game. I myself have not beaten the last level)

Hope this helped your decision to buy this game!
