The Simpsons: Hit & Run (PlayStation 2, 2003)

I think the game is awesome. You get to run over any one you can reach in the cars, beat people up out of anger or just do it for the heck of it, a whole bunch of cars and missions. Sure it has a little swearing if you bump in to alot of things but you can go almost any where and there are a lot of great and funny costumes from the comics and the t.v show. the only bad thing is the two player. Youonly get to race and it is extremely hard to control. But it`s still a great game if you don`t count the adult humor, swearing, and 2 player. One more thing. If you collect all the cards you unlock a funny itchy and scratchy cartoon. BUY IT if you can.

Welcome to the town of Springfield, home of America's favorite family the Simpsons. Any fan of the show will immediately recognize Springfield landmarks like Moe's Tavern and the Kwik E Mart. Also present are the Simpson's family and most if not all of the supporting characters like Chief Wiggum, Apu, Millhouse, etc. Voiceovers are done by the actual Simpson's cast and the game's story is written by the Simpson's writers so you know the game stays true to the spirit of the show.

While there are over 50 missions to complete the best part of the game is just driving around Springfield seeing the city and interacting with the characters. This is especially true while driving considering how much Homer is yelling when you hit pedestrians and other objects. Simpsons Hit and Run is also Multitap capable for up to four players.

The game is fun to play and watch, even if its somewhat repetitive at times, and is a must for any fan of the show.

This game is fun don't get me wrong but it's fun disappears just as quickly as it came. It becomes repetitive and boring. It's the same old thing over and over. Rent it, Don't buy it!

My Mom got this game for my husband, and we love it! It was supposed to be a joke, and (WOW) ended up being a great game. Having a majority of PS and PS2 racing titles, my man takes on the challenging races and enjoys the comic relief. I am more into role playing games and therefore am better suited for the foot treks of discovery. Whatever gaming style floats your boat, this is a "FUN GAME MAN."

I thought the storyline, gameplay, and characters were great, but some characters played little or no role in the game (e.g. Bleeding Gums Murphy). Voices and artwork on the game were "realistic" compared to the television show.

Great game for young and old, however, some of the language surprised me, but it was a PG-13 rating. I finished the game over a period of weeks - it was not too difficult. I will still keep this game for future play, simply for the humor value.

Recommend ? Yes, especially for a Simpson's fan.

I rented this game and found it fun at first but then it got boring. The graphics are bad and the storyline is garbage.

I have been watching the Simpsons since I was in elementary school and it is one of the funniest shows of all time! It never gets old and in fact keeps getting funnier! I highly recommend buying this game because it's so fun to play!

My son likes this game and he is 6 years old. I would say it is generated tord the younger generation.

I decided to purchase this game because my husband is a fan of the Simpsons and really enjoys The Simpson's Road Rage game. He is not a big video game person but the Road Rage game cracks him up and he likes how it is one of those games that you can just pick up and start playing right away (not a huge involved story line). The Simpsons Hit & Run actually has more of a story line and there are alot of things to collect while both walking and driving. My husband does not enjoy this one as much but my kids and I really like it. Some of the challenges and side quests are tough because they are timed but you do not have to complete everything to move on to the next level. If you are a fan of the Simpson's you will enjoy this game as it has all of the characters from the show and the scenery will also be very familiar. All in all I am very happy that I made this purchase!

I received the game but after several atempts to play it, it did not work. It kept taking us back to the begining. I called the eller to complained and he inmediately send me a refund for the total amout of the purchased plus the shiping.

My daughter and husband love this game and thats saying alot my husband hates video games but loves playing this one.

my 7 yr. old is a huge fan of this game. It views like the show- same characters and lingo and great visuals. He loves the variety of missions and really enjoys all the breaking glass and cars blowing up! I would say it is probably his favourite simpsons game and he has several.

great price on what I was needing. Item was sent to me even better than described. very satisfied. I will be keeping an eye out for his/her other auctions

I really can't say much about this game. It's classic Simpsons comedy, little puns, swears, and all around stupidity. A game to just sit around and play with very little thought. A great way to waste another boring Sunday Afternoon.

this is a great game and i really enjoy it. there are some hard bits to control and some bad missions but overall its a great game i am very pleased!!!

I got the game for the kids. I tried it out. I liked it and recomend it. There were a few minor words that some may find objectionable, but if you are a fan of the simpsons, you know they are not totaly rated G. I'ts not as soficsicated as say,, grand theft auto, but I don't want the kids playing that one. This game made a good replacement for say a 7 yr old who wants to pay grand theft auto, but you won't let them. This simpson game made him happy.

typical, cant seem to find a "kids" game that isnt full of violence, sex, or some other kind of over indulgence. i guess its just not like it use 2b when i was a kid. Hell i got a stick to play with! this game was better than most, but then "i am Homer" he and i graduated the same years, im old bald, fat and ugly too!

I bought The simpsons hit and run for ps2 form this seller. It came and is so scratched that it won't play. I explained this to the seller and he got vry rued and pretty told me to F off. I just thought that other buyers should know about this. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Great game! I don't think they make it in stores anymore, and I am so happy that this game is exactly how it was described! It works great, and I have had no problem with it at all. The price was great too, only about 10.00 plus shipping. I was expecting a lot more, considering I had just recently lost another bid for the same game which had a much higher price.

I like this games graphics and it is a fun adventure game. But the language is very bad. There is alot of cussing in this game. I dont recomend this game for children.The characters talk about taking their clothes off,underwear and everything else. I dont even recomend any children or teens around while playing this game.
