A MUST HAVE FOR THE SIMPSONS FANS OUT THERE.

The simpsons are always irreverently funny, but this season took the cake as homer bart maggie lisa and marge pushe the envolope to the outermost edges of acceptability --- Love that simpsons

I bought the Simpsons DVD set for my 11 year old son for Christmas. He was getting a portable DVD player from Santa and I thought this would be a GREAT addition to his DVD collection. It's a new item, so it's not scratched or dirty. Of all the DVDs he got, so far this is the only one he watches. And, since it's the entire 2nd season collection (4 discs), it keeps him entertained for hours. It was a great price compared to the same collection in stores, even with shipping.

this show is one of those things that has its moments, even in the later episodes, there are the moments that make the show worthwhile but i believe this series is long overdue and has lost its appeal that made it special in the eariler shows. if you love the simpsons, buy the dvds, otherwise, just watch the reruns on networks television.

This is a great one to own the Box around the st was a little more bit up than expected. We own must of the Simpsons dvd's this is just another one of the great collectors they have put out.

The Simpsons being a great show is kind of getting old... I mean its so funny and I can relate my family to that. Any Simpsons fan should get this! Must Buy!!

I'm a huge fan of The Simpsons -- or at least, Seasons 1-9 of The Simpsons, and I'm looking to expand my DVD collection. This copy of Season 2 was the right price, and it was in great condition. All in all, a wonderful purchase!

I have been watching the Simpsons since I was in elementary school and it is one of the funniest shows of all time! It never gets old and in fact keeps getting funnier! I highly recommend buying these DVD's to enjoy it all the time!

What can I say, this is the Simpsons. The greatest things about getting these seasons on dvd, is that they aren't edited for television. When you watch the shows in syndication, it is amazing how many jokes are cut out for television timing purposes. Once you watch these shows this way, you hate watching it on tv. A definate must have for any Simpson's fan

A very good collection of episodes. I think my favorite episode out of season 2 is Bart's Dog Gets an F. Homers reaction when he realizes that Santa's Little Helper is not tied up in the backyard like he thought is priceless. A real must see!

I loke season 2. it has a lot of great episodes including the first halloween episode which is the greatest one of them all. Some of my other favorite episodes are in there as well. Thanks a million.

I think that it`s an excellent collection of episodes from the seasons where The Simpsons started to hit it`s stride into becoming one of the greatest shows of all time. The DVD set is full of great classic episodes like Bart the Daredevil, Itchy & Scratchy & Marge, Bart vs. Thanksgiving and The Way We Was. I highly recommened the Complete Second Season to any Simpsons fan that doesn`t have it.

Tried to watchg my sister's DVD at Christmasas and just couldn't get into it. Finally ordered it and it was good, not great. For a full length movie, it should've had more pizazz.

I am not going to write a book about it, but I will say if you like the Simpsons, you know you have to have it. If you ever liked the Simpsons then you have to get. I picked this up for my Beatles collection since Ringo Starr made an appearance on the show. After watching the episodes that old flame was re-ignited. I had forgotten how much I loved this show. I laughed so much sometimes to tears.

Besides Ringo, you get The Halloween and Thanksgiving Specials. The special Features are not bad either. The interview with creators is interesting, and seeing the old Butterfinger, commercials are very cool too. The Emmy and American Music Awards appearances are very good as well especially while listing to the commentary. I almost forgot to mention you get the MTV music videos for the Deep Trouble and The Bart Man. Buy it you will enjoy it. Oh and The Simpsons proves Cartoons are not just made for kids. At least these sure were not.

This season contains one of my favorite episodes: Treehouse of Horror with the Edgar Allen Poe rendition of The Raven. This proves that the writers of The Simpsons know what is interesting to their audience: humor and smart writing. As an English teacher, I use The Simpsons often to link my lessons to American popculture. The integration of this series is both interesting for students and a fun change of pace.
