If you want to cook with flair, this is the book for you! The Silver Palate Cookbook is an excellent addition to any kitchen. All of the recipes are easy to follow and the results are excellent. The original "Silver Palate Cookbook" has been a staple in my kitchen for at least the last ten years. I've used its recipes time and time again.

My wife borrowed this cookbook from a neighbor and found a great variety of excellent recipes. We are now enjoying the results and would recommend this cookbook to others who enjoy sampling different recipe items.

I knew that I needed the Silver Palate cookbook in my collection, because its the one that we pulled off the shelf most often in my mother's kitchen - you can look to it for pretty much any occasion, and it will have something excellent. I love this edition because it is full of beautiful color pictures, which really makes a difference in a cookbook! nearly all the recipes have accompanying photos. Pretty pictures aside, though, the cookbook itself is an excellent all around resource, and I highly recommend it.
