Silver Lining by Bonnie Raitt (CD, Apr-2002, Capitol/EMI Records)

Somehow, someway, in perhaps a very down/ill time in my life, I missed this album entirely. I did buy it on ebay (maybe something listed 1/2 price????) Anyway for under $4 I got a lot of brand new Bonnie songs (at least to me).
It is wonderful and I still have a lot more exploring of the words to do....I have not even gotten to point where I wear the CD thin.....trying to listen to the words over and over that help me vocalize my own feelings.
No, I am not crazy....Bonnie just writes, corroborates or sings songs with A LOT of meaning, often helping me (and others I am sure)and others, I am sure.

GREAT MUSIC, probably mostly for women, although I have seen many men sing to the top of their lungs, along with her, at concerts. Especially my personal favorite by John Prine, "Angel From Montgomery". Goosebump city it was!(Ah, not on this album, this seems to be new music, at least in 2002!)

songs that actually say something.I like that.music by musicians,not mix masters. I became a convert,after "nick of time".it just took awhile for me to get around to it.
