A CLASSIC IN THE HORROR FILM WORLD.GREAT ACTING BY GARY BUSEY AND COREY HAIM. THIS IS ONE OF MY VERY BEST FAVORITES IT ALSO HAS SOME HUMOR IN IT WHICH MAKES IT AN EVEN MORE INTERESTING FILM. THE CREATURE IS AWESOME VERY WELL DONE ON THE SPECIAL EFFECTS FRONT. SO IF YOU WANT A GOOD ONE LINED UP FOR HALLOWEEN THIS IS ON YOU SHOULD HAVE ON HAND.

A cycle of terror ...

Every month, when the moon is at its fullest, the usually quiet town of Tarker's Mills is visited by what the townspeople think is a homicidal maniac. Mutilated corpses begin to turn up and a curfew is administered upon the residents of Tarker's Mills. One crippled boy nevertheless decides to ignore the curfew - which led to the cancellation of the Fourth of July Fireworks - and meets the mysterious murderer face-to-face one night. So begins a quest to discover the true identity of this monster.

Daniel Attias has produced one of the creepiest Stephen King films ever with 'Silver Bullet'. The screenplay (written by King) is an adaptation of his novella, 'Cycle of the Werewolf', about a lycanthrope who hunts down the townspeople of Tarker's Mills. The film is well paced and has a 'whodunnit' feel, as well as plenty of extremely scary moments that will ensure you do not head for the 'eject' button, feeling you have wasted your hard earned dollars.

Moreover, there is a great cast here, headed by veteran actor Gary 'Point Break' Busey, Corey 'The Lost Boys' Haim, and Terry 'The Stepfather' O'Quinn.

I first watched this film when it came out for rental in the mid-eighties and it scared the bejezus out of me. So, take the nightmare ride of your life through the fog shrouded woods of Tarker's Mills, but beware the moon.

'Silver Bullet' also stars Everett McGill of 'Twin Peaks' and 'The People Under The Stairs', and Megan Follows, star of 'Anne of Green Gables'.

Had been looking for dvd for a long time, found it on ebay for a good price. Very happy with the way the product looked and how fast the delivery was.

This movie is a CLASSIC! One of our fave's. We had it in VHS, but now had to replace with DVD! Brings back some memories for us. I'm sure we'll be looking for more items from this Seller!!!

I love this movie. Gary Busey is extremely funny as the Uncle in this movie. It is my favorite movie of him. The one thing I wish this movie didn't have was the foul language. It could do without it. I bought this movie for my brother for his birthday. We saw it last year on T.V. during October.

Son loves Stephen King movies and he rated this movie good. As other reviews said its an older movie so the effects are not as good as present day movie. But would recommend it to any Stephen King fans.

This is a decent movie with a plot that's right at par. The acting is ok but I'm not a big fan of the ending. Having said that, it's decent and worth a watch if you're out of new releases or classics to watch.

this movies is one my cousin has wanted for a very long time he watched it as soon as he opened it, it was a great old movie that I also own,.... you cant beat the old classics.

I first saw this movie when it was shown on cable back in the mid 80s. I was immediately enthralled and frightened by it. I watch it every chance I get now. I've read the story that it's based on many times over. I've been a Stephen King fan since I was 14 years old. Corey Haim, Gary Busey and Everett McGill make this one hell of a film and McGill's dual role as Reverend Lester Lowe and the werewolf is bad ass! If you haven't seen this film, and you enjoy a good scare, watch it after dark.

I purchased this particular DVD because I am a diehard Stephen King fan, and have been looking for it for quite some time. I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it.

Men in rubber masks and hairy suits just don't make excellent werewolves, but Silver Bullet has enough going for it, that the bad guy can be corny looking and it's still okay. This is a fun, popcorn movie. Just enough suspense to maybe scare younger viewers, but good ole fun for everyone else. Uncle Red is a hoot and brings some great some comic relief. This movie was never meant to be taken seriously as a hardcore horror flick, so don't go into it with that attitude. Just sit back, take a swig of soda, pop some popcorn in your mouth, and grin. The moon is rising and a monster is on the loose!

This is a nice adaptation of the short story by Stephen King. The director does a great job of setting up the small town atmosphere. Corey Haim, Megan Follows and Gary Busey are great. An all-around exciting twist on the werewolf story.

This dvd was sealed and original...I love this classic, Brings me back to when i was a kid, That wheel chair has to be the best thing ive ever seen, I want one, LOL I just love this movie

This movie is a little dated, the special affects aren't what they are now... but the story is classic! A werewolf is on the rampage in a small midwestern town. No one knows who it is and once two children, brother and sister begin to investigate, they are shocked at what they learn. They employ the help of their often drunken but good natured uncle who believes them. The werewolf knows that the children know his secret idenity and is now after them. The actors in this movie star in many hit movies made later and it's interesting to see them in these early roles. The plot is believeable and the acting is good. Some parts may be a little dicy for young children but overall it's an entertaining, action packed, "family" movie.

The DVD was in excellent shape, for being used. The price was right. I'm a huge Stephen King fan, so i try and collect most of his Movies and his Books. The Movie is excellent.

After an encounter with the murderous werewolf, wheelchair-bound Marty Coslaw (Corey Haim) becomes saddled with the unfortunate knowledge of the beast's human alter ego. With some help from his sister (Megan Follows), his goodhearted alcoholic uncle (Gary Busey), and his turbo-charged wheelchair, he sets out to rid the town of the murderous scourge. King also wrote the screenplay.

The DVD came fairly quickly, considering I ordered very close to Christmas. It plays in very goo quality. I would say this person is a very good seller and I truly appreciate. Thank you very much. I will consider getting another DVD from here.
