This album launched the solo career of Boz Scaggs. Lido Shuffle, What Can I Do, Harborlights and Georgia are just a few of the gems that embrace the listener in a cascade of silken sounds. Boz Scaggs combines a bit of crooning and jazz that never fails to please. A classic album that should be part of any audiophiles collection.

a classic album, still timelessSilk Degrees remains rooted in its era, but still is a timeless work. Boz Scaggs' voice is excellent on every cut. I still find new things to like about it every time I listen to it. For example, the guitar solo at the end of Lowdown is awesome...

This is a classic from the 70's. Some of the tunes and lyrics haven't aged too well but some of the tunes are real treasures. Some nice slower tunes from an age when you weren't considered a whimp if you had a soft side...and showed it.
