This Christian lit is GREAT! Drama, love (with no offending sex scenes), heroes, and above all people touched by God's loving care! Lukas and Mercy, both doctors, continue to build their relationship. Theo, Mercy's ex-husband, who has become a Christian, works to build a new relationship with his daughter and ex-wife. Theo is a recovering alcoholic and abuser and has a lot of old painful issues to overcome. He also faces a health crisis and becomes a true hero. Behind the scenes are Clarence, at 200+ pounds, is struggling to lose weight and develop his own relationship with God and to move out into the public. Delphi, an abused wife, struggles to free herself from her husband Abner to start a new life. Lukas, temporary working in an ER in another town has run-ins with a biker gang and a child-stealing ring. This book is very warm and wonderful and will make you cry. These characters are well drawn and you will fill you know them by the end of the book and cheer for them to succeed. It is filled with people who are struggling with a relationship with God. An A+++++ book!
