Silent Hill 3 (PlayStation 2, 2003)

Silent Hill 3 offers the gamer a great experience. You play as Heather, a teenager that is drawn into silent hill after some gruesome series of events. The story is very good. Like in many games the voice acting is a bit off, but not so much as to say it's bad. The game looks great. The lighting effects create a great atmosphere. The game plays in very dark areas and the shadows formed by the flashlight look awesome. The monsters in the game are very well designed. These monsters range from the typical monster dog, to the large and hard-to-kill Insane Cancer. The control is basically the same as in past silent hills. The stages one goes through are very creepy. The haunted mansion is one of my favorites. There are some camera angles that are awkward to play in, but they are rare. Overall I give this game a 4 out of 5 ranking because it's a short game.
