Sigmund and the Sea Monsters - Season 1 (DVD, 2005, 3-Disc Set)

I remember this show from when I was a kid and liked it. Hoping my two kids would like it as well I bought it. They both loved it and have watched it twice already. A funny show and well worth the money.

Sid and Marty Krofft, need I say more. If you'd like to peek into your past or show a new generation, there's no better way to show what you remember what Saturday mornings were like back in the early-mid 70's. Sigmund's only the beginning of the wonderful/psychedelic world of Sid and Marty Krofft.

I used to watch this show as a kid and loved it. When I found it on ebay I thought i'd get it and see if my kids would like it just as much as I did when I was there age.

cute, simple slapstick comedy perfect for kids and check out the 1970's fashions.

I've never seen this DVD, I bought it as a nostalgic gift for my sister in law. She was thrilled to near tears on the reciept of this because it is virtually impossible to find.
I can't really give an honest review of the DVD, or it's content, but an excellent rating is in order for the fact that this title was available!!

My 5 year old enjoyed seeing these episodes for the first time. Boys getting into trouble, surfing, ocean humor, and trying to hide poor Sigmund. Definitely some laughs to be had and references to the 70s are a hoot for grown ups. But there's a reason it only lasted a few episodes. I also picked up the entire Land of the Lost series and that's been a huge hit with my kids.

I watched this show when I was 6. Now I am 41 with a 6 year old daughter, and I wanted to share it with her. We watch it together quite often. I have a great relationship with my daughter already, but the times we spend watching these videos are special. I appreciate the quality and service I recieved from the seller, and will buy from them again.

I love these DVD's for the kids. They are fun and have the great values of our generation. I enjoy seeing the kids watch these dvd's because I know they are wholesome, and have no back talking and other bad behaviours the children see so much of on tv these days.

I have such great memories of these segments. And the music is great too.
