I could into rave enough about this phone. The interface is intuitive, quick moving, and powerfull. I have put this phone through sub zero temperatures for hours, many cases of oops i dropped it. even dropped it in water once. since they designed the phone with the button keys separate from the board i was able to dry off the phone by hand and air dry. in the morning it worked fine. I did put it through some abuse and it finally showed years after when the screen stopped working. i am surprised it lasted that long. It was weighted perfectly 50 50 in your hand like a porsche. antenna did not extend out and wasn't frail so it couldn't break. at the time everyone's phones lit up green and this lights up orange. cool at the time. nowadays there are camera phone and color screens, which takes away from it. When it came to text messaging i could type quicker than on any phone and i could navigate the menus easily and quick enough with out looking. it has the tdma and gsm capability, which is hard to find. The only drawback is there is no amps coverage. but how often do you really use amps. you prob don't (or know if you have). i tried a sony ericson t42u that is like this phone but has amps coverage and it doesn't even compare. i wouldn't think twice about buying a good looking phone from siemens. the only thing i would look to make sure i didn't get a funky stylish phone from siemens. i think they are experimenting on different designs and some look quite out there. how this helps.
