Sid Meier's Civilization III (Game of the Year Edition) (PC Games)

to say this game is good is a massive understatement.
if you like strategy games this game is required.
if you like exploration games you also need this.
if you like ice cream you need to go to the supermarket...sorry.
this is a great game though. when the game starts you are a lone settler your first goal is to establish your capital city,
after you do this you use that city to build more settlers and also army units you need those other units to establish other city,
and to explore the rest of the world map.
but while you are trying to get your nation off to a good start,
there are other computer controlled players trying to also take over the world,
and the a.i. for the computer controlled opponents is very good this is not a cake walk (even on the easy settings).
if you buy this game you can play a quick game say 10 or 15 hours,
but you can also play a game that can last literally hundreds of hours.
this game is a real classic,with great replay value.
