Wonderful material, but poor quality recording - hard to hear Dickie when he speaks. Wish they could have "beefed-up" the sound.

Bought this 2 weeks ago as a gift for my father who loves the Smothers Brothers. He does a lot of traveling on business is always looking for new CD's to listen toon the trips. He says he's listened to it probably 10 times already!

I grew up watching the Smothers Brothers Show and could agree with my parents for that period of time...they were FUNNY! I decided to buy it because of the good memories, and that I could still sing the chocolate song by heart (and my husband thought I was nuts because he had never heard of them!!). The CD was great, and I am thrilled to share that kind of humor with my kids! It had never occured to me that the Smothers Brothers were great folk musicians or that the harmony they sang was wonderful...I just laughed until I cried!! This CD brought it all back..what a great investment!! My only regret was that the "map song" wasn't on it: does anyone else remember the one about the costume party where the lady was tatooed as a map of the world??? Her back was Brazil, her chest was Bunker Hill, and on her knees was greece (grease on her knees??) Remember?? Buy this!!!

This cd contains the essence of the Smothers Brothers. They were a favorite of my late husband and mine during the sixties, and I had not heard them for years. This album contains reference to the pumas in the cravices, "Mom always liked you best" and other familiar lines, and with their great harmony. Great reminiscing!

Great CD. Very good quality. Many Smothers routines included. A must have for any Smothers Brothers Fan! Great price and reasonable shipping.

I've loved the Smothers Brothers since I was a kid and listened to my mom's old LP. Hilariously funny and suitable for the entire family. I wish there was more available from this fantastic duo.

I have always enjoyed the Smother Brothers ever since I was
very young. I bought it so I can listen to it in the car.

I'm thrilled with the CD. The sound quality is great. I'm a long time fan and have some of the old original albums. This CD has all my favorites and a bunch of material I hadn't heard before. This would be a great CD for anyone who is a fan of comedy in general (especally in the more classic variety style of standup) or who has seen some of the Smothers brothers and wants a collection of their classic routines.

It's amazing how much of the subtle potical commentary is still true too.

One last point, if you want a comedy cd you can listen to with your kids in the car, this would be a great choice... they are living proof that it isn't really necessary to be vulgar to be funny (not that they M rated stuff isn't funny too). My 17 and 12 year old kids have both enjoyed these old friends!

Absolutely wonderful to listen too even if I already know most of the jokes. Still great. Went to Las Vegas to see their show in November and it was a wonderful experience and loads of laughs.

Although the Smothers Brothers have an abundance of material, and most seems lost in history, this is a wonderful compilation for those who remember their wit and sweet, silly songs. I just wish it had more!

The Smothers Brothers are sooo funny I just laughed and laughed while listening to this CD. Both my hubby and I laughed together, a lot! We used to watch their shows on TV and so I could just see the brothers saying the things they said on this CD and could especially remember Tommy's face when he would say something to Dicky, his brother. Very funny and what a great CD. A wonderful investment in humor! MJ

The cd was more than I expected.. it brought back some really great laughs and memories... would love to get more of their work...

Took 4 grandsons ages 10-13 to Niagara Falls - 81/2 hour trip. We listened to it at least 15 times - they know it by heart. I have purchased 4 - one for each of them. Am now ordering 2 more - one for my son and one for a friend.
Need a laugh - buy it!!!
