Shrek the Third (Wii, 2007)

I bought this game for the Wii a couple weeks ago. The game controls are fairly easy and straight forward. The game switches between character from the movie so you have different skills you use for each character. Changing characters keeps it more interesting and keeps you from getting bored with the same one.
The only thing I have found that I don't like about this game so far is that there is NO CAMERA CONTROL, which makes it difficult to accomplish some of the tasks....it's kinda hard to jump to something you can't really see clearly or you see at an angle. otherwise the game has been fun so far.

I loved this game. It was so exciting and also funny. You play a long like a story book and get to act out more than one character. I really enjoyed it and would reccommend it to everyone of all ages. I'm 24 and it was fun for me and my little cousins.

We rented this game and we bought it for our boys aged 12 and 4. They had to have it!

Overall, the game suits all ages and can be enjoyed by the entire family. Reading skills aren't required for a youngster - so long as someone is around to assist with reading and relaying the initial control features.

The graphics are better quality than other character games we have seen. I believe all the voices are of the original cast. (Not the case in a lot of other games!) You don't play the as the same character in all levels. There are levels where you play as Fiona, Puss in Boots, Sleeping Beauty, Donkey and of course, Shrek.

It helps to look up a playing guide online so you can help the kids along with different tasks in the levels. It certainly helped me jumping in there and help out our 4 year old on a couple of occasions without me having the benefit of knowing exactly what to do (continuous jumps, etc.).

The only problem I had with this game is I have no idea how to add another controller for the multi-player mode. Still don't have a clue after trying everything I know prior to loading the game, tried adding it in the main menu... still can't manage it! So, it's lost on me!

i like the game. but i did find a glitch in it so far...to where i had to shut it done cuz i could not get out of it....but other my son and myself liked the game...

This is a fun game for kids who love Shrek. The graphics are great and the levels are fun. Not overly violent, which is great. Not too difficult or frustrating for the little ones.
Overall, a clever and fun game.

I think that this is a good game for children. It is easy for them to understand and play. The graphics are excellent, and the story line is fun for the children to follow along with. I would recommend this game for all children ages five and up who enjoyed the movie Shrek.

This game tells you to push C to open the gold treasure chest. I pushed and pushed and it wouldn't open. It doesn't tell you you need to push intermittently to open the chest and the door. That might have helped some. It was pretty frustrating if you are older and new at these types of games. Now that I've gotten past the first stage it's a lot more fun.

WE LOVE Wii the way it is so realistic and challenging. Game is challenging. My son loves it also!!!!

A MUST HAVE GAME. Good for all skill levels. There are several tasks inside each stage to complete and at least 3 stages per level. one can play each stage as many times as one likes complete one task a run through or all task in one try. I really like that one can select which level and stage to play at any time. One doesn't have to start the whole game over. Collect money to buy helps that make it easier to play the harder levels. Good graphics, sound and colors. Mini games are fun with easy replay or change game menu. My 8 year old grandson has as much fun with it as I do.

Very exciting game. Good mix of different styles of games out there. Graphics very good for a Wii game and sound pretty good. I love the Shrek movies so this game was high on my list and I got it for a great price.

This is a good game for 20.00. It is fun, just a little hard to negotiate some action sequences. The graphics aren't the best, but for 20.00 what more could you ask for. (Lego Star Wars the complete edition is the best game I ever played.)

I liked this game, because it helped me stay close to my niece. I got it so i had soimething to talk to her more and help her out during the "hard parts of the game she is 5. Otherwise, I had fun playing, it was very enjoyable being 25 and playing video games. If you enjoyed the movies you will like the game.

I bought this game for my grandson because he loved the Shrek movies. I own
a Wii so that I don't become a couch potatoe. Anyway, I thought I would "test
drive" it before gifting. It started off with pleasant fighting but soon
turned into a puzzle solving adventure. I was hooked and it definately
improved my hand eye cordination and patience! Dry humor and a lot of fun.
I would highly recomend this game for any age. Open mind helps.
