Shrek (DVD, 2001, Special Edition; 2-Disc Set)

Once again this is another one of my satisfactory eBay purchases! I love how the dvd arrived perfectly to my house. It was brand new just like if I had bought it from the store. I decided to buy this dvd for my son, to add it to his movie collection. There was nothing negative about this purchase, or the way it was shipped. thanks, **ERIN**

I think nearly everyone of us have seen Shrek. But for those who haven't yet seen it and have somehow seen the 2nd or 3rd without seeing the 1st, you should definitely watch this fisrt installment in the series! I have to say that I love this part the best, probably because I like the songs better, or my favorite song from the Shrek series is in the first part. There is romance, and since it's how Shrek and Fiona fall in love with each other, I really love the story. But like all movies, it could be way better and longer, but still, it's really, really great. And I do believe that the lesson about love in the story is great, and very, very, VERY touching!! So, watch it if you haven't seen it yet!

all of my movies arrived within the first week, however i never received this one and its been over a month!

What a great beginning to a trilogy of hilarious movies. This first Shrek will keep you in stitches. The animation is amazing. Eddie Murphy, as Donkey, is the funniest he has ever been! I bought it because my 2 children loved Shrek 2 and we needed to figured out how Shrek and Fiona met. What a great story of how inner beauty prevails!

I liked this movie a lot, but I could not find it anywhere else in widescreen. Great movie with lots of comedy and a fun adventure.

Shrek is one of the cutest cartoons of all time! I absolutely love this movie and have watched it a hundred times! All of the actors do such a good job with the voice overs and it's SO cute! I highly recommend it!

I won the auction on the 10th of may and it is now the 8th of april and I have yet to see my dvd. I bought this to replace my son's that was lost but now I am out the dvd and my money. I have reported this seller to ebay but they have yet to do anythign to him as he is still allowed to sell on here. This seller has completely ruined my ebay experience and once i get my money back that will have been the last time i use ebay. my experience up until this point has been nothign but positive but this experience has been so horrible n frustrating. From my point of view from ebay's policys and such the buyer has no chance of getting anythign done or a chance to survive on here. Sellers are allowed to commit murder n get away with it. This seller has a history of this same problem and from the other buyers I have talked to and from there very own feedback they have had 8 claims filed against them and still they go on selling and screwing buyers. some of them waiting 3 months to get there items and when you try to contact this seller you receive no response and when i left him negative feedback he threatened to ruin my ebay rating becuase i was petty. well i am sorry i work hard for my money and dont appreciate when it gets taken n i cant get a response or even my item in the mail. I have copies of the email that was sent where he threatened me but was told by ebay they didnt need it now. well by the time they will need it if they do it will probably not be in my ebya box. but thats ok like i said once i get my money back if i ever do since this seller also has a problem of returning money also i will be done with ebay. also i dont understand why i can't be told what is going on with the investigation. it shouldnt be a problem when i am the one that got it started. very upset and dissatisfied with ebay christine lownds

My son LOVES Shrek and so I bought it for him for Christmas. The movie was at a great price and free shipping and it was brand new, still wrapped in the plastic!! If I bought this at the store in this condition, I would've paid $19.99!!

Shrek is one of the funniest cartoons EVER. I recommend it to people from the ages of 1-100. Good gift for the kids.

I never received the DVD and I was charged for it. I am very unhappy and do not recommend this seller.

Excellent! Great entertainment for both adults and children. Wonderful songs, good story-line, vivid colors. This is a very funny movie that we can watch with our grandchildren.

In my opinion, the best Shrek movie out of the three! Much better than I thought it was gonna be the first time I watched it.

Purchased Shrek 2 everyone said it wouldn't make since unless I saw Shrek 1. Haven't had a chance to watch it yet. So really not sure what else to put.

Movie in great conditions. My one year old loves this movie. I had bought Shrek before,but we let some one borrow it and returned it damaged. Now we are enjoying the movie again. The movie was consider like new and it really is.The picture looks great and I had no problems with my dvd player.The dvd player played it right away.I think that I got the movie at a great price.I didn't have to go buy a brand new dvd,which would have cost me double the price a just paid.
