Back in the early 80's Batman ran into a conflict with his longtime pals, the Justice League of America. He decided to resign and form his own team: the Outsiders.
The first 19 of the 32 issue series are collected in this budget Showcase edition. The writing was a lot of fun with Batman, one of the A-list superheroes, leading a team of c and d listers.
Jim Aparo's art is some of the best that I have ever seen in my comic collecting. He maintains a consistent style and keeps everything looking like the iconic figures that we are all used to.
If you grew up in the late 70's early 80's, this is your Batman handled by one of the best creative teams in the business.
