i actually worked at a supermarket as a cart guy with the drummer of this band when this album was recorded. he took off a week to go lay down his parts and there was a terrible blizzard. so despite being very good friends with him (now the frontman of the ergs) i would often curse him while i was stuck out in the snow by myself rounding up loose carts. they even mention in the insert "recorded during the blizzard of 05". i think that resentment i harbored is what took me so long to buying a copy of this despite it being a flawless album. this band is sorely missed.
