Mark Wahlberg, an Army sniper who is left for dead after a mission goes bad in Ethiopia. He makes it back home, quits the military. He becomes a bitter recluse with a head full of intelligence, skills, and experience. It’s not hard to recruit him from his isolation to lead an attempt to abort an assassination of the president of the U.S. Think frame-up, betrayal, great driving, nasty villains, vengeance, lots of gunfire and imaginative fireballs.
Sure, pass by the illogical impossibilities, but it has a story, and some decent acting plus some great action scenes and dazzling photography.
