Shock to the System (DVD, 2007)

I rented this thinking it was going to be another Mediocre (at Best) independent movie with lots of Male Eroticism with no acting talent. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Sure there was some Hot scenes including a Completely Nude Jock in the shower/locker scene and yeah, you'll see guys making out but the real quality that made this movie one I will own is the fact it dealt with the real internal conflict that goes on inside most Gay people about what life would have been if they were not gay. This coupled with the conflicts externally about the same issue with parents and others makes the secondary issues (other than the Detective finding the murderers of 2 students) more powerful than the main plot. Shock does have flaws! One huge one being while the gay detective is questioning someone close to the 1st victim, the power suddenly goes out and the detective (protecting the witness) heads out of the room and down a lengthy deserted hallway carefully watching for intruders. Predictably someone makes it into the witness's room and shoots him. How? and why the hell did the detective leave the person he was trying to protect. Wouldn't he have hid to see who was coming and catch them in the act rather than potentially scaring away the culprit before determining what the guy was up to?? Anyway despite this, the movie really dealt with some sensitive issues and with me anyway, overpowered the movies intended main plot. I'd say it is worth a watch and you just might find you will want to add it to your library!! Thanks for Reading!

The movie came right on time and was in Excellent Condition. The seller was informative and prompt! I fully recommend purchasing from this Seller Again!!!
