Shock Waves (DVD, 2003)

despite it is a low budget horror it is full of suspense and eery momentswhich stick in your mind for days: who can forget easily the unstoppable zombie soldiers?They sort of remind me of the yul brinnerrobot fromWestworld...with an even uglier "Fog"gish look...
I watched it by chanche when a boy about 25 years ago and finally tracked it down ( didn't remember its title). Maybe now is a little dated and it takes a while to get going... but I still enjoyed the watching.
Imagine a claustrophobic creepy Caribbean island where some Living Dead want only to grab and tear you and...and no place to hide for long... If you like Nazi Zombies, swampy islands, and a cameo from Peter Cushing, well then this is you.
The acting wasn't unforgettable but it was surely better than most of the B horror that have been coming out over the last 30 years.

I am a big fan of the old horror movies, especially black and whites. Growing up in the 1950's there wasn't any profanity or gorey stuff and it was still enjoyable. Shock Waves has always been one of my favorites. It is full of suspense and scary moments and is most enjoyable to watch at night with the lights out. For horrow film fans this one is a classic.

Dvd was perfect, great condition. I was very happy with the dvd and would definetly buy again from user. I think in my opinion the product was definetly better than any other i may have rcieved off of ebay

The deal here is that the premise always intrigued me. Nazi experiments gone wrong. Zombies. Anytime a movie has that stuff as a central theme- I'm hooked. If you're looking for high-brow entertainment, this is not it.

But what it is, is a cool little film, made on a shoestring budget, that sticks in your mind after you watch it because it's so damn eery. Great flick for cult horror movie fans. A must have for the the home DVD shelf under awesome cult classics.

The movie is a great one the=at combines nazis andscary places to film it. For a low budget movie it is great abd one you should watch and or buy.

This movie that I bought is a movie I had been looking for, for some time now! It was the first movie that I can remember that scared the pants off of me! The movie was complete and clear of digital defects, but the only problem I had was the price! I payed over $16 dollars with shipping and insurance! For a movie that was from 1977, it was a bit much! On the bright side, I can now share a part of my childhood with my love ones! So I guess you can call that priceless! God bless use all!

I saw the last 10 minutes of this movie about 28 to 30 years ago and finally tracked it down ( didn't know the title). I expected a little more action through out the movie and it takes a while to get going. That being said , I still enjoyed it.
The passengers and crew of a yacht for hire get stranded on a creepy island and meet up with some not so friendly inhabitants. It's Gilligan's Island meets Night of the Living Dead,kinda. If you like Nazi Zombies, swampy islands, and a cameo from Peter Cushing, well then this is the one for you. The hot girl in bakini didn't hurt either.
The acting wasn't award winning but it was surely better than most of the B or low budget zombie flicks that have been coming out over the last 40 years. Most of the camera work was fair and it did have a professional feel to it. The back story was good and I think they could have did a lot more with it. Worth watching if your a die hard zombie freak like me. In it's time it was probably one of the better zombie flicks out there , so I gave it a good rating .

SAW A TRAILER FOR THIS IN THE EARLY 80's. verrrryyyy moody and suspensful thriller about nazi zombies in the bermuda triangle. peter cushing and john carradine liven up the proceedings. yes, its low budget, but very well done.
