Shiva Rea - Yoga Trance Dance (DVD, 2006)

I never received this, and the b**** who ripped me off was paid for it. Ebay and PayPal are doing little to nothing about this, and I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. AFTER I realized I had been ripped off, I learn that this woman, during the same time period, ripped off SEVERAL buyers and is no longer on EBAY. This was my third and LAST EBAY/PAYPAL purchase. That someone can so freely steal from so many people, and that the official response is, "This may take 30 days to settle" is a load of crap. If you don't like this opinion, stop sending me e-mails.

I love the way Shiva Rea makes use of both free moving dance moves and traditional yoga to guide you through an experience that will enliven and rejuvinate you, and stretch and strengthen. My friend who always says that she can't dance did one of the sequences with me and she really enjoyed being in the freedom of this style of dance. The music and scenery is awesome too!

I decided to buy it because I have been getting a lot of advice from a counselor to use dance and movement to help release emotions that I tend to store in my body and not allow myself to express. Having a little bit of structure for the dance has helped me, but this style is also not limiting so I can move as I need. It helps me to be more motivated to engage in my yoga practice when I get to dance as well!

Although this is not a traditional yoga DVD, it offers an energizing and if you like, peaceful workout. Using the Yoga Matrix option, you customize your practice determined on your feelings that day.

I am enjoying this workout dvd. I like that I can tailor the dancing and poses to fit my needs at the moment. You can select which level too. I really like her energy. I was looking for something different and I found it.

I wouldn't purchase this if you were a beginner, the moves are a bit hard. It seems a little awkward at first but once you get going it's pretty good.
